Im running hid lights on my is200 and just recently it seems my battery is draining. Have i done something wrong installing? I dont fancy jump starting it when i wanna use it...

And all of a sudden they both work fine this morning!!!! how bizarre... maybe some kind of receiver interferance??

personally based on looks alone the IS200... not a major fan of the way the 250 looks. the CT200 on the other hand.... that makes me dribble!!

Hi, strangley this evening my car has decided it wont lock itself using the fob. i tried the spare too thinking it maybe the battery but alas same result. it wont auto lock itself either... anyone else had these problems?

So i have this awful whine coming from the rear wheel area when doing 30mph + its like a high pitched scream, last week i had lexus change the rear discs and pads in the hope that would solve the issue (£310 actually wasnt too bad for lexus) and although the rear discs looked shot to shiv.. this hasnt solved the issue... anyone else out there with an issue similar, i have read a few posts about lodged stones or back plates catching but would have thought with a new disc and pad this would have been spotted.

i had a similar issue last month... so stripped the whole headlining down and did water test.. turned out to be the windscreen needs re-bonding. also lexus informed me that they dont do replacement seals for the sunroof... and you will have to but the whole sunroof glass etc etc... but as said u can pick a whole assembly up from ebay for a fraction of the cost.

i have just purchased one from lexus birmingham via ebay and it cost me a total of £48 .. cheap and a great addition!!

i have done some more digging around and i think i have found the main cause of the problem... i have taken some pics and also i have put wire down the sunroof channels to unblock them... the water comes into the car just under the airbag sign on the passenger edge of the dashboard see pic.... and i think the problem is the soft rubber seal on the bottom corner on the lower corners of the windscreen see pics...

having looked at a few posts on leaking lexus they didnt seem to help me, it only leaks when it rains... last week i found a puddle in the passenger footwell... and now this morning i found all the centre console was wet... and the roof lining in the middle was wet... the sunroof looks ok tho so im just wondering if anyone else has/had this issue

Just noticed recently that during high speeds (motorway driving) i notice that the bonnet is physically moving up and down, never noticed it before but never really looked, i did think it was just the paint colour decieving my eyes but no.. i looked at the bonnet to wing gap and there is definite movement from the bonnet, now i know with wind and aerodynamics etc etc and i have checked to make sure the bonnet is shut properly.. its scares the shiv out of me thinking the bonnet will fly up at any given time. am i the only headcase out there

pedal dance complete and button dance complete also ... i did find several methods of button dance online and tried and failed a few.. i shall put the one that worked for me on here at some point.

I have since had the Key cut that was purchased through ebay and did the pedal dance and it worked first time car starts no problem now so all good... buttons not working tho.. anyone know how to get them working and im away!! thanks for the welcome

Hi all, i have just bought myself an 05 plate IS200 se. im really enjoying the car as it is quite a step up from previous cars owned. i have only 1 small issue which im hoping other lexus owners might be able to assist me with. When i purchased the car it had only 1 key with 3 buttons. I rang lexus and was quoted £180 (as seen by another user on this forum) First of all i dont know if my key is a "master" how do you tell the difference?? Secondly i looked at the forums and used the blank key Ebay method to which im now a proud owner of a spare blank key (which just needs to be cut and programmed) I rang my local dealer who told me if the key was coded to another car (which it is) it cant be coded to your car simply by using the reprogramming method (wonder if thats a slight lie) It would have to go on the diagnostics machine etc etc etc Finally if i CAN reprogram the key to my car, what is the process and where would i find the said information?? I realise that this topic has been opened several times and i have looked at most of the open issues, they never quite answer everything im looking for! Any help on this issue would be much appreciated Oh one final thing.. all the glass in the rear is tinted black for privacy is this standard and mot ok??
