Hazel Have a look under your waterpump and see if you can See any Pink crud under the Pump my MK3 a few years ago Had exact same problem and it was the water pump leaking I dont think your Head Gasket as gone. You may need one of those small mirror type Pens to see it but i will wager its that I had 2 mk3s from 2010 to 2013 and i had to change both pumps (well lexus did) but they changed design after MY 2010 If you look on the US site its full of Problems with water pumps on the Mk 3 Robert

Stuart You are right there isnt Much you can do But plenty of stuff on the INFO page weather Car parking POIs EMails MMS, also one feature i like is the WHAT WHERE page you get there by online search i e POST OFFICE, DONCASTER. you can also Plan your routes on PC and send them straight to car They go in the Stored Routes Page i do use that a lot as it gives you uptodate Route Info Hope that helps Robert

Roger I do believe your Radio is DAB + but are you aware people seem to be going off DAB and is not as popular as it once was. Also they (The Broadcasters) have dropped Traffic Anouncements (TA) and as you may have noticed there are lots of Dead Spots because the promise of More Ariels around the country as failed to be implemented. I used to rely on TA but if i need it now i have to drop back to FM. It would be interesting to know what other members think of this. If you google DAB it will tell you about this HTH Robert

if its Ok for me to comment this is usualy caused by the water pump developing a leak if you can see pink crusty stuff aroind and under pump thats the problem.

Hi All Is there a voice Command update as My Gs450 mk4 2018 as only Play Artist Play Album Go Home my previous 2010 450 SE L had loads of voice commands granted some of them needed saying a few times or it didnt understand my Yorkshire accent but they worked eventually The American models also have a Plethora of commands So why not ours I did wonder if there was a setting in Techstream to Initiate it. Thats very strange as my GS450 l mk 4 does It can be Lock when drive engaged and unlock when Park engaged and Locked when reached 15 mph

Do you use the 3 flash function or you can increase it to 5 that would aleviate the problem i always use the 3 flash on roundabouts or mororway exits

Hi Sherlock The Part Number For The "Repair Damper ASSY is L87020-30010 the cost of this part when i bought it was £22.18 The total cost inc assy was £72.50 it took less than 30 minutes to do but they did take glove box out but as i said it was 10 yrs ago Hope this helps Robert

Sherlock I have had a good look but cant find anything But the repair kit is a Lexus part I will have another search to see if i can find the part number i am sure i must have on my pc somewhere but it was 10 year ago that i had it done sorry for late reply i have been away

Hi Sherlock Yes the lever that controls the Recirc as Broken and if you looked at it in the Fresh air Mode and the slightest touch to move it will result in it breaking. Someone as tried to move it without putting it in Recirc Mode which results in it breaking if you look around the passenger kick panel area you will will fiind the broken lever A few years ago when i Had my 2010 Gs mine was broke not by me i might add i got it changed at Sheffield for £50 approx i suspect it will be more now but there is a repair kit for it

Herbie Do you find the mouse touchpad a bit hit and miss as i was told that it can be a bit skitty but mine is the joystick and was looking at getting one of those vlines but was put off by the cost

Woud it be fair to assume no one uses the Voice activated system I must admit its not the best in the Car Industry

Hi all Got a GS450h 2018 as anyone had any success with the voice control mine is limited to, play Song ,Play Artist. Dial Number and thats about it but most of time(must be my Yorkshire accent ) does not understand me at all. My previous Mk 3 could do allsorts Radio,CD, Increase Heating Lower Heating Navigate to ??? but this one is very limited. I know the latest ones are ok as i had a NX Loner on my last service and was like my earlier car. Can the software be updated or does is it need to be initiated as i cannot find any thing in the online manual except Voice training but i do not have that option on car Thanks

Had mine done 4 weeks ago no problem at all they too put in a quarter tank of fuel at sheffield
