    Starfire pearl is actually a different colour. Arctic Pearl paint code is 077 Starfire Pearl paint code is 078 Both colours are available on the RX450h, so Im afraid they are not the same colour here in the UK, and Starfire pearl is not available in the IS range.

    Metallic paint has metal flecks giving a sparkly finish. Pearlecent paint has glass flecks in the paint giving a deeper finish in certain lights. Both are lacquered, neither are satin finish. Starfire Pearl is not available on the IS range.

    I guess what I am saying, StuNo1, is that the price you see these advertised for is not a true indication of the cars values. Its a bit of a hollow way of looking at values.

    All of which are retail priced, so that would put a private sale price for these models starting at just over 20k. Trade price for an 08 model with average miles - circa 17500-18000.

    FYI it is actually a different engine than the one found in the IS300h. Same size, but lifted from the Camery not the IS.

    Good day gents. I have mentioned in other similar threads that I do have an allocation available to join Steve at the Ascari track early next month. I do have to be clear though, because there is only one seat remaining, it will have to be reserved for a customer that has placed a deposit/order.     Lexus Bristol have an IS-F coming into them shortly. A 62 plate - less than 100 miles on the clock for just £37950. Any one interested?

    The Ultra Blue LF-A (no 16) is owned by Lexus. It has been to Goodwood Festival of Speed for the last few years and featured in UK press since launch. It is one of 2 LF-A's that Lexus Europe own, the other being the white example first shown on Top Gear (driven by Richard Hammond) The white one is usually kept in Brussels HQ for Eurpean shows, the blue is for the UK. Any other coloured models are from other countries.

    My mistake, reading the thread I understood that Ricostuart was talking about the IS200D Advance model not having DRL's. Of course the late F-Sport would have them.

    Acutally F A, the LED's were never fitted to the IS200d due to the deletion of the diesel from the Lexus range.You will only see LED's on petrol models only regardless of the age. IS200D and IS250 are both no longer produced in anticipation of the next generation IS early next year.
