Hi All, I was driving when all of a sudden my car started making a noise like it wasn't firing on all 4 cyclinders. I then pulled the plugs of the coils and listerned to the tone of the engine. I found that when I removed one of them the engine noise didn't alter. I then swapped a coil for another one which transferred the fault. After doing this I am putting the fault it down to a coil. Therefore I am asking if anyone knows where is the best place to buy one? And how much would it cost? Thanks, Graeme...

I haven't done anything before hand. But have since changed the air filter and plugs. A friend pulled the fuses for the ecu, will that reset the ecu? I am having plans to have a cam belt change and general service and will then clean the maf at the same time. Hopefully that will help.

Hi all, I have a Altezza 1999 which I have been very happy with. However I have just recently had problems with the acceration. When I get to 5000rpm I was used to getting put back in the seat. But as I get to 5000rpm now it hits a bit of a flat spot and doesn't perform like it used to. Has anyone got any ideas what could cause this? Thank you Ned... :)

Hi I have a 99 Altezza and want to service it. This service will include the cam belt plus tensioner , alternator belt and power steering belt. I would like to know where I can get these at the best price? Can anyone advise. After having to replace my battery twice in about 3 years I am wondering which size I should go for. I've got a 99' rs200 with a 35 amp one. To prevent future problems is this under rated? Thanks...Ned

Thanks all, the water wasn't the cleanest I've seen it so I drain the system and top it up again to if it does the trick. Ta. Ned... ;)

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas to noise I get when I start the engine. It is gurgling noise that sounds like a circulation of some fluid? I've checked the levels of all possible causes i.e rad, steering etc. This didn't used to make this sound. Thanks Ned...

I went to halfords and a guy gave me the correct leads to convert my Altezza to a Sony head unit. :) He also ordered a double din fascia which is for the is200\rs200. I thought I'd update in case any one else ever wants to do the same. Ned...

I have a Sony MEX-R1 head unit that I want to fit in my RS200 but obvoiusly none of the connections are the same. I will also need the din plate but don't know if it is a single or double size needed. If any one could help me out it would be great. i.e best person to contact. Thank you Ned...
