Dear All, can anyone PLEEEEEASE tell me where I can get my hands on a used or recon. full radio unit for a TOYOTA HARRIER (LEXUS RX300)? The part no. is 86120 – 48030 and it is the unit with the buttons/CD/Radio/Air condition. Something is damaged internally and as a result the radio and all functions work, but I cannot see anything on the screen (total darkness!). Lexus/Toyota charges too much for this. By the way, any experts who deal with fixing problems like this also welcome. I have already tried replacing the screen above but didn't work, so it's something inside the radio console which gives the signals to the screen. Thanks and Merry X-mas to everyone. Peter. (CYPRUS)

Hello Kostas (piocdx) I have been trying to e-mail you but there seems to be an error. Anyway, I would like to know if you can get your hands on the following: 1) SatNav screen: Part no. 86110 – 48010 (NEW or USED) or 2) Radio/CD Player/Tape/Air Condition Console, part no:86120 – 48030 or the whole package , i.e. screen and stereo/air cond console together. My car is a 1999 TOYOTA HARRIER, which is the same as the LEXUS RX300. To your knowledge, would there be a problem if I got these parts from the States, since mine is a Japanese import car? I have found a US site on the web (www.paintscratch.com) who can supply paints for LEXUS. Looks organized. Maybe I'll try them If I can't find somebody closer to me. Cheers. Peter.

Can someone please suggest a place where to buy a touch up paint kit for a 1999 Harrier (RX300), colour code: 4P2 ? Also, has anyone tried a Uk/European SatNav CD instead of a Japanese one? Does it work? Will it convert menus to English language? Cheers Peter

Hello, my RX300 is a Japanese import and I have to admit it is annoying to see all the menus and instructions on the screen in Japanese. Does anyone know if there is a way to change to English? Maybe by buying a new CD to change the menu language or something? Cheers Peter.

Hi, Yes. My screen is completely blacked-out (not even background lighting) although power is going into it. There's two possibilities: 1) the screen itself or 2) the signal fed to it from the radio unit. So, I would just like a quote for a price. Do you deal with such things? Cheers. P.

For my RX300 (1999 model) the buttons on the radio/cd/tape are NOT working and no sound coming out, whereas the air conditioning is working OK. ALso I can't see anything on the screen even for the air cond. settings (completely dark screen). Have taken it to lots of technicians, nobody seems to know exactly what it is - they've told me to try and exchange the radio console completely to see. Anyone have any other ideas or where I can get my hands on a USED radio console? (Part no: 86120-48030) to buy. The screen part no is:86110-48010. Thanks. Peter.

Dear friend, speaking from experience: be absolutely sure you have removed the keys from the ignition before rmoving or reconnecting the rear plugs, as the tiniest of sparks will damage the radio and then you will be in deep s***, as I am in at the moment!!!
