  1. Actually have a nosey at this mate, thought I'd seen something like that over there: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-...1-05-sc430.html
  2. To be honest mate your absolute best place to ask this is on clublexus.com as they tend to do this more than us - not sure about that comment about the rear as it would be better in the dry with wider rears, just be a bit more careful in the snow and rain from what I gather? Anees had 10 inch rears on his and it was fine mate, think he said it was a more comfortable ride as well?
  3. My IS used to be a nightmare with speed humps but that problem was due to the exhaust - Mr Shipley used to scrape his when he had the Hiper on and lowering springs, I know one day I had a full load in the car, in fact Rob was sat in the middle of the seat, and we could hardly drive down a country road as it bowed in the middle and it was seriously scratching the floor :D As for the car I've got now, don't really tend to get issues with this one, just the exhaust flange catches every now and then but it's not so bad since I had coilovers fitted since they're firmer and don't bounce as much as the shock suspension would do. At the minute I think this was only dropped by about 20-30mm as I needed to be able to get around and not worry about speed humps (I've been known to turn the car around if there was a big speed hump when I had the IS as I wouldn't get over them without feeling sick at the noise of everything scraping!)
  4. Happy birthday dude, if you're 40 that means you have to get absolutely smashed to bits on the booze later :)
  5. That last one is definitely a showcar winning finish!
  6. In terms of the doors I think it's just as the chrome strips have been removed for now as have the door rubbers which leaves that gap :) Can't wait to see this all done :)
  7. Said it over on FB earlier but happy birthday :D
  8. Puddle lights for the win - it's the VIP look and this car will pull them off with style :)
  9. Just tabloids mate causing hysteria - this came out ages ago and it's already been changed so that the addon only works on a per user basis - wouldn't personally bother going through this - you should really be running something like NoScript in Firefox which puts you in control of all active content which is more dangerous than this anyway :)
  10. Mate I think I said this over on Club Aristo but this is going to be the best JZS16x that the UK and most probably Europe has seen to date!
  11. Awesome stuff mate, stunning car you've bought there :) Does make the price of a supercharger for the IS200 seem a bit daft when you think how much you've got for your money here!
  12. That's great news, glad you got it all sorted mate :)
  13. Did you tighten the cable too tightly that goes from the supercharger bypass to the throttle body dude?
  14. Might have something with a bit more power mate than an IS300 mate, but going for something a bit old school and still a Lexus/Toyota :D Has it got a Griffin? Very nice indeed if so :D
  15. Well mate are you going to the Midlands meet on Sunday. Not sure to be honest mate, if I'm about I will, the way work is going this week I can see I'll be holed up all weekend down South :(
  16. Mate if I was you I'd kill that video as people have been done for stuff like that - fair enough it doesn't hit triple digits but just be careful dude as you never know who's reading! Well impressive stuff though mate, sounds great and certainly very fast compared to an SC'd IS :D You must be well happy to have it back mate - can't wait to see it :)
  17. Nice one fella, look forward to seeing it, sounds a right little monster now :)
  18. Happy birthday fella, hope it's a good one :)
  19. Bloody hell fella, I just came on and saw this - that's really shocking mate, but I guess like the guys say at least you weren't in there at the time as it could have been a lot worse I guess! Hope things work out ok mate with this lot, that really is crazy! Good luck with whatever is next on the agenda, you'd really put an unbelievable amount of time and work into that car and it's terrible to see it all end up like that :(
  20. I might pop over in the Golf :D
  21. That is seriously mad! They've got good taste in music over there too :D
  22. Bet you've already used £30 of VPower if it's all working right :D
  23. I bought one of the ELM327's for my Aristo and that never worked on my JDM Aristo, so not sure you'd have much look as that uses something else which isn't compatible, even though it had the OBD-II port it uses a different protocol. What engine is in that Harrier? Is it the 2JZ-GE? Just wondering as there's a trick you can do on mine with a paperclip shorting two pins in the diagnostic port in the engine bay that causes the fault codes to get flashed up onto the dash so you can see them. If it is the 2JZ probably worth giving this a go if there's the port in the engine bay: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/lof...php/t56212.html
  24. Happy birthday mate :D Hope you have a good one fella!!
