  1. Yes, both the IS200 and the GS300 share the same pads, front disks and rear disks
  2. JIC has a struct brace that was designed for the IS300 (GXE10). They come in normal (i believe aluminium) and carbon fiber finishing. The carbon fiber is wrapped around a metal/aluminium? bar. The Japanese supplier told me that it is real carbon fiber, but I want to see it in person first :)
  3. Coilovers The handling of the car is now much better and sporty.
  4. I got some new sway bar bushing from an US company and am planning to install them on my car. People in the US say that only these bushing will give some improvement, since the original bushing are relatively soft (and in my case, old since my car is a 98), so I thought why not try them. After this (probably end of December) I will try to install an aluminium STB and will post my findings on this part.
  5. I still have some HKS Foam panel filters in stock for the GS300 and IS300. They are GBP37 a piece. They give a some improvement over the stock paper filter. Send me a pm if you are interested. I will also receive a Trust intake for the GS300 from the manufacturer in about 10 days. Not sure about the final price, will know when the stuff arrives.
  6. STB = Struts Tower Bar Congrats Richie with your new GS Rijd voorzichtig! En vergeet niet om wat fotos te posten. Alex
  7. Hi Pete, if you can wait for 5 days, I can mail you some tape by regular airmail. Pm me if you want them.
  8. Tape - The ones with the tape were sent straight from me, as I wanted to offer you more convenience. Please note that you have to clean both the eyelid back and the headlight area as good as possible, otherwise the tape may loose it efficiency. Painted eyelids - These were sent directly from the supplier, who also did the painting (and also did not have any tape). In addition to the tape, you can also use some silicon glue to stick the eyelids.
  9. Hi Gus, I undertand that you are unhappy, but please come to me first, since I may be able to solve this issue. The damage was likely caused during the mailing. Many of the LOC members received the eyelids in good shape, and although I understand that you are unhappy, this mishap is a case of bad luck during the mailing. Btw, I send you a pm.
  10. You are wrong about the weight. The IS300 is much heavier than the IS200, approx. 150 kg. Mostly because of its engine. In addition, the IS300 is tuned for comfort rather than sporty/racy. Toyota Japan is promoting the Altezza or the Altezza with turbo charger (third-party option) for sporty/racy. But yes, the stock IS300 has much more power than the stock IS200, so the stock IS300 is much faster. However, compared to a Compressor-charged IS200 or a Turbocharged Altezza, the IS300 will likely lose the acceleration race. But, not with a lot, and the IS300 driver can do this without any sweat, while the others need to do some smart shifting. The best thing of getting an IS300 is that everything is covered by the Factory :)
  11. i also lost all my pm :( and needed to be revived. I only registered this LOC nickname after the restore point.
  12. Very nice Billy, how easy was the painting? Perhaps you could write up a DIY eyelid painting?
