  1. Thank you for the info, I am going to view one thus week hopefully. From what you've said I'll be very careful with checking service history and guarantee on battery etc.
  2. So key points are full service history for the hybrid side of it and then carry on with the main dealer for the hybrid part of it. Just to get a guarantee. The rest of it is straight forward same as any other car. Any thing else I should look out for when buying a hybrid 5 Year old with 60k miles.
  3. Thank you for the info so far. So I generally service all my own cars myself. Is this not wise with a hybrid then or not. Also, the battery guarantee, so if I but a 5 Year old car with full service history will the extra year be valid then.
  4. Hi, so I'm thinking of buying a is300h, been looking at 63 plate around 60 thousand miles. Really like the car etc , BUT, been told not to touch them ?? Been told by a friend of a friend that you can't touch them repair wise, not even change a bulb due to static. He said the hybrid ecu is really sensitive and that everything is maindealer and very expensive. Also, how long do the batteries last ?? I welcome all opinions etc, more info the better. Thanks in advance.
  5. I want one now, noticed that there is not many on ebay or swapz though.
  6. I think mine is past repairing now, so I might buy a flip one and do the same as u, saying that I might have a chance of swapping my car for a Nissan navara tomorrow so we will see what happens..
  7. I have also notice speed limits going down, could also been making a lot of money in speeding fines.
  8. Took my new key to be cut today, all good to start, tried new key and it wouldn't fit in ignition all the way so he tried again and again and again and again and again and now there is hardly anything left of my key and in the mean time he broke the Loop bit on old key so I can't put it on keyring.
  9. I did this last year with my peugoet 206 1.4hdi, made some 4x4 drivers look very stupid.
  10. So has any one used these, am I right in thinking that these stop the spring compressing against each other. Would under weight this cause the car to have no suspension at all.
  11. If the code says "malfunction" then the sensor is no good you need to buy a new one.
