  1. The thing I miss about my old beemer is not being able to drive to work and see 10's of identical business cars.. .. Used to make me think my old company put a lot of hard work giving me such a wide choice.. .. But I don't miss the 1st aid kit, that came with me!
  2. Just realised my MOT is booked in for the same day that my alloys are going in for tarting up and new rubber.. .. Has anyone got some spare alloys I can borrow? I'll come collect if you're Hampshire/South east area.. And give'em a good clean etc in return.
  3. But surely if you take it "outside the box" its a "win-win" situation I've got a woman who sites across from me who tells me everytime she's going for a pee... Cheers for telling me "love"
  4. Have a mate who uses it.. He says its the Firefox of online bidding. ... But then I don't use Firefox :P
  5. Barbers who insist on talking to you... this can be increased if you go to the same one, and have the same discussion each time you go! My one is about where/when I'll be going on holiday
  6. Oh I've thought of a good'en. Old codger drivers who drive at about 10mph and have no idea of the highway code. i.e pull straight out of junctions etc... And even if you swear and toot your horn at them they still stare straight forward as they're having a hard enough time of concentrating on the road..... ...and *breath*... when you're driving through town and people just walk out in front of you, then if you say anyhing to them you get the finger
  7. My Boss, why does he insist of standing behind me when I'm working and just stares at my screen.. This goes on for what feels about 1hr and in the end I have to turn around just to see if he is looking at me.... .. Then I get from him.. "what you doing".. What does he think I'm :tsktsk: doing, picking my :tsktsk: hole. .. Is this the end you may ask... No, he then waddles a few steps over leans down on my desk with his head in his hands, gets about 3 fring'in inches away from my screen and just stares at it... In the end I have to get up and walk off, before I lamp him one!! agghhhhh!!!! ... oh yeah and the Sugar thing
  8. Listened to it for the first time yesterday. Rubbish
  9. My one is Kensington green (6Q7) I think its a slightly bit darker.
  10. I've taken the speedo out before (theres a how to in the workshop section I think) and its quite easy if you take your time. It you knew what the cable was, anyone could get a bit if wire and a switch from their local maplins/electrical shop. You could then fix it in all pretty or just cable tie it under the steering-column area. Will somone take the challenge!
  11. If an electrical type person knew what wire it was you could cut the wire, and put another longer length in with a switch. You could then fix the switch somewhere out of site and turn it on and off to your own will
  12. You almost have to kick'em in their :tsktsk: to get a new gearbox..... Keep on nagging them!
