The art work was his and nothing to do with the company who is now advertising it, they are his own pictures that he has taken himself with his camera they have taken them without asking As yet he has not contacted them as he is un-sure of what he can do, can he simply just call them and ask them to remove them? and if they don't then what?

They are my mates pictures, he did all the design of the graphics and did the work himself, I think that is what is p :tsktsk: ing him off, as the company who now has his pictures plastered all over their site are in competition with him (not only doing graphics). They did not even ask him could they use them, as I am sure he would have said yes, but they are advertising something that they have not done using Nicks pictures

I worked on police liasion at Vodafone many years ago, before we could give out any information we had to have a signed data protection document which was signed by a super intendant, and I guess it has got a lot stricter since then. Mobile telephone company's don't just give out this information, you may find it cheaper to change your number and let all you contacts know. Have you contacted your mobile supplier and advised them that you are getting these calls? they used to do number changes free of charge.

Anyway, he runs a company ************************* Basically, bit of a rival to my own company i guess, but he's got pictures of my car all over his site (even in the banner)! If i was going on there as a new customer, i'd presume the Graphics etc were all done by him as when you click on the graphics section a pic of my car appears?!? I just think it's a bit cheeky more then anything, and almost false advertising. Am i in the wrong to think this? I don't own the car any more so i doubt there's anything i can do, but i took the pics he's using and personally think it's a bit out of order that he didn't even ask, he simply just mentioned to me today that he "nicked" a couple of pics for his site. Any ideas/suggestions about this?

I was told by a guy who repair's stereo/cd units that the problem with cd-r's etc are they are slightly thinner than normal cd's and that is what causes most of the problems. Mind you that may be just an excuse!

If you traded it in then you should be able to prove that you no longer have the vehicle and what date it was traded in, tell them you posted it, my letter went missing.

I got one as well this am, sold the vehicle over 3 years ago, telephoned the dvla a few months ago when the reminder can through they said put it in writing which I did, not got the same letter as you! Guess I will be calling them in Monday to see what they are playing at, wish me luck
