Periodically my 2005 GS300 wont start. It says it cant detect the key, which is in my pocket. and I cant press down on the brake pedal which is still. All lights etc working. Assumed poss battery so i started it with jump leads and it was ok and has been since. Could battery be week alternator problem any suggestions?

my low level loil light came on. I put a litre of lexus oil in. Did 2000 miles over 4 days and light has come on again. Done 110000 miles in total and bought this GS300 2005 only 3 weeks ago with full lexus service history. Any suggestions, should i have put more oil in ?

Can anyone recommned a lexus garage in manchester area for my gs300, not a main dealer

Yes, they bought a new one but Lexus only offered them £3k in part ex against a £60k car. I'm looking into LPG but need to research how it would affect performance etc

I've driven numerous Volvos for 20 years, the last one was an S80 diesal with 200,000 miles on the clock. I cam accross the Lexus brand and was amazed at how much car I could get for my money. Decides to hell with the fuel cost ( 1000 miles per week ) and go for one. Just taken delivery from a private buyer of a GS300 SE3.0 Auto 200. One owner, full Lexus history and 101000 on the clock. Black in immaculate condition. Hope I've made the right choice. Any tips?
