  1. Yep! There is now a 2 meter exclusion zone around my car :-) I'll have a look for phantom grey, cheers. S.
  2. Has anybody tried these... https://www.amazon.co.uk/RimPro-Tec-Pinstripes-all-weather-protectors-Complete/dp/B07CX5R6VL/ref=sr_1_9?crid=3TCELGPCN125&keywords=alloy+repair+black+chrome&qid=1576591905&sprefix=alloy+re%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-9 S.
  3. Cheers all! But, no, not yet, he's just gone on holiday. The only thing keeping me sane is that the callipers still look good. (He did those too along with the grey roof, (The grey is the old Granite Sky from my original IS200)). S
  4. Hi All, So I've just had my car fixed up and sprayed after a battle with a wall, in which the wall won.. I also got them to refurb the alloys. I got the car back yesterday and I have curbed them this morning. So you can imagine how pleased I am with that... I have an is300h F-Sport. Does anybody know the colour of the wheels and know of any touch up paint that closely matches the colour. I've see this anthracite paint on amazon.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ANTHRACITE-ALLOY-REPAIR-CURBING-SCRATCH/dp/B073PY8SWF/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=alloy+wheel+repair&qid=1576577713&sr=8-6 Cheers! Stuart
  5. Nooooo, I replaced them the next day after find the wire on the way back from London. Lets just say, the second half of the journey was taken with real ease. S.
  6. Well, take a look at a loverly bit of inner tyre wear. I'm in the process of booking in with TDI-North (email sent. :-) ) for a good bit of geometry action. Anybody want to buy some used tyres?? S.
  7. My mesh is silver, but that's cause stones on the motorway have chipped away all the black paint. There is a bit of black left where the number plate has protected the mesh.... the number plate has now fallen off, and I can see that the black does look better. At some point I'm going to spay it back to black. So it's black for me... S.
  8. Cool, I didn't realise TDi North were in Warrington. Thats where I work. I'll be booking myself in in the near future. Smooth with a capital smoo. S. Yes i do:- http://www.tdi-north.com/index.htm A very friendly competent team who master the complexities of chassis calibration.
  9. Mine is about survival in harsh environments. S.
  10. Check out TVersity.com. Enables you to stream DivX, Xvid and other video formats to the 360. S.
  11. Thank you very much gents. Much appreciated. ( I didn't get a Lamborghini Murcielago, but I did get a Lamborghini Murcielago cake. :D ) S.
  12. Yo Mike, Can I get some blue sidelights, indicators front and rear (and side?) and blue reversing led. And all the interior lights in blue too. Did you send out my Clear repeater lenses?? I not seen or heard anything of them. S. PS. ok, so this should really be in a P.M.
  13. 18" spare fit fine. I have a Sport with the standard 18" wheels and it's a full size spare. S.
  14. Get rid of it. Sell it to me for 400 pounds. Then you'll have 800 and everyones a winner. :P S.
  15. I gonna have to man!! Unless anybody wants to buy a nice fresh one off me. (And I am talking about the exhaust tip. ) Why you little....... S.
  16. I quite liked it when I saw it on ebay, so I purchased one. Not fitted it yet but I think I will.
  17. Ok, so the question is.. (for me at least :-) ) Is their a rear bumper that goes with that, and...is it any good?? And do you need to change the fog lights from the standard ones so it'll fit?? Though the circular ones do look good. I think I would be interested in a group by... I reversed over some bins the other week, which pushed my exhaust back just enough so the heat from it melted my rear bumper (That takes skill I'll have you know.), so it's a good excuse for a body kit change. S.
  18. Just a quick one, why don't you just remove the warning bulb from the dash therefore not requiring the load resistors. The LEDs are never gonna go. And if, by some strange paranormal incident, do go, I'm sure the friendly boys in blue will let you know. :-) S.
  19. Guy and Gals, I was thinking of purchasing one of these , a double din fascia so I can mount some kind of touch screen i there to replace my stereo. (Part of my plans for the old Lexputer :D) Anybody got any experience in doing something like this? (I'm sure I've seen a few around here) Just want to know how easy it it to fit a screen and do they fit well, or is it a case of using sticky back plastic and loo rolls? Or am I better looking out for a manufactures solution by somebody far more professional than me? (You may have seen my 'brake dics' thread. ) Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have some good plans for my lexputer....... S.
  20. Weellllll. I fitted mine and I thought they looked better. I think the lights look more redder than with the bulbs and if you look at them direclty they look just as bright. Perhaps there isn't as much light dispersal as with the bulbs, but other cars are directly behind you most of the time. So I quite like them. :D S.
  21. Yeah, your damn straight. I shouldn't be allowed near mechanical objects. I understand whats going on now. Had a closer look at that diagram. So i've losened the star wheel all the way, but now I think it's a case of the discs being rusted on. I can't budge them. Gonna hit them with a large hammer in a min, wish me luck. (I could SO get a job as a mechanic) S.
  22. Yeah, I found the thread, but which pic shows the star wheel? There is a diagram a couple of posts down, which letter represents what I'm looking for, S.
