  1. simular to mine but just when i come to stop.
  2. a single click, more like a clonk? Normally the slider pins starting to corrode, they clonk as they suddenly move rather than moving freely. But it could also be the pads moving within the callipers, or your wheel nuts are very loose. this makes sence when i took my calipers off the pin that holds them all in was a bit rusty ,pitted , can i buy these alone?
  3. Mine is something definitely with the drivers caliper.when pulling up to stop .im talking less than 1 mph.
  4. which bits are the slide pins are those the pins with the clip on the end that holds the pad in? if so im sure i did this with copperslip?
  5. hi the only way i can describe it is when i pull up on my drive or up to a junction i can here a clicking its definatly the brakes . just the drivers side i think

  9. hi ive got a is200 2001 auto that runs great including the auto box , the only grumble ive got really is that when im just tootling around town in traffic ect around 30mph or slower its grumbles into gear , this only ever does it every now and then not all the time , the car has just clicked over 152k , the oil looks ok and it doesnt smell bad , ive no idea what the dif oil is like , what diff oil is to be used in these cars , i know about the toyota special oil for the autobox and i shall use that. i rung a gearbox specialist up yesterday and he said theres no point at all changing the oil and the noise is just the box wearing out , how the hell does he know without looking at it?
  10. ill ring them again tomorrow and see why they have done it like that , he did it with my reg number and that gave him the settings he said he try and do them close to that , i could do with a letter from you to give me some amunition.lol
