  1. I baught a boot spoiler from an ebay seller cr2cuk7. it unpainted but is nice and sturdy, fits good, and comes with mounting bolts!
  2. Haha. 60% off a gs-f would also be great!
  3. These wheels are narrower than standard so could make an impact on the way the car drives. I would recomend staying above 8j wide to maintain stability
  4. Thought i'd let you all know. Gsf have a 60% off code GSF60 ends on the 30th Managed to pick up a pair of denso wiper blades for £18 Similarly eurocarparts have 50% off too.
  5. I wouldnt bother on the aftermarket headlamps. The projectors are poor and the leds produce a cheap blue light. Its a downgrade Cant comment on the rears.
  6. i baught a set of the fake sets on ebay. to me they are a waste of money, the drls are sidelights. and are a cheap blueish white led. the projectors are shocking and do not support xenon/HID's. I would save up and get genuines.
  7. As others have said its quite possibly a egr build up. I have found that these cars produce alot of soot. Also dpf problems would bring up the check engine lamp. A drive down the motorway at about 3k rpm for about 20-30 miles will force a dpf regen and may help slightly
  8. Hey. Im getting annoyed now by the lack of fm signal my car gets now... especially now i have a dashcam installed. And was wondering if its possible to fit a boosted aerial into a boot or roof spoiler to replace the standard rear window nonsense. I dont want to fit a shark fin to my car either. Many thanks, jamie
  9. With that offset he will need to roll and might have to pull the arches. Relocate the fender tabs. Even might have to increase negative camber.
  10. Theres a company called climair that do them. Lexus is classed as american on their site
  11. I've had this problem from years, even worse now I have a dash cam wire going around my windscreen its like it has weakened the signal even with de-mister off.
  12. Great to see atleast sone of us enjoy and appreciate the car :) Mines on 138k and have put 40k on her myself. Shes had her probems but still runs great
  13. Please dis-regard everything I've said, I got them mixed up with the other style sold which make the 2is look like the newer 3is, those should be fine if they have a filament indicator, but the only thing wrong with them is they may be tinted too dark to pass the mot
  14. their slightly lighter red than the normal lights... and they don't reflect... at all.
  15. here's the pics I promised off sidelights Brake Lights
  16. not sure to be honest, the only way is to probably plug them in and test, or ask the vendor and take their advice, if its wrong it'll be an easy return. you cant tell the colour by just looking at the led's unfortunately
  17. also make sure the indicators flash amber, I've spoken to people on clublexus and some of theirs flash red.
  18. the value of the calliper isn't the issue, it cant hurt getting a couple of quotes, if its more than a new one, its only logical you get new, but refurbished ones are perfectly fine to use, but if you want to try it yourself, slider pin kits and seals can be bought relatively inexpensively.
  19. diesels are designed for motorway usage anyway, so driving this on smaller journeys is a bad thing. and the gearing isn't mis-matched, the gearbox is designed for the driver to be able to utilise more rpm's and to give it a sportier feel. you just have to know how to drive it properly to get the most out of it. as for the head gasket issues, I read somewhere that when these cars came from factory they had a antifreeze in them that ate the head gaskets, thus causing problems. also a lot of people have a heavy foot and give it some wellie from cold, which is very bad thing to do.... should leave turbo cars approx. 30 seconds to get oil circulating on start-up and all engines should be fully warmed up before using higher power.
  20. I'll grab some pics tomorrow evening for you, I have black sealant around mine to make them look like proper sealed units, cant see the edges either so no worries on colour
  21. I'm on my second set of led reflectors, my advice is to smear a sealant in the groove that the two halves join at, or water will get in and damage the led's..... and make them look like equalisers.
  22. I agree with shahpor, mines had it's little niggles, but mainly egr and dpf... but the car is solid, the engines strong and an absolute joy to own.
  23. I have a pair of chinese ones. Found light output very poor and the leds very blue. Ive replaced the leds with cree diodes and have new projectors to go in... i wouldnt reccomend them unless you plan on modifying them... Still cheaper than buying genuine drl lights
