I have the strangest feeling of deja vu.
didn't you make this post when you got the cosworth?
and weren't you back a few months later with another LS and your tail between your legs?
well done mate - glad to see you got the car you wanted, and that you are happy with it. Hope you enjoy it
and
see you in a few months
Not this time matey, but I can see why you would think that. Difference is I had a T5 before and I know what they are like and I loved it, that's why I got another. Never had a cossie before I got that pile of *****, and will never have another! to be honest I don't think I will ever have another LS400 again. I just got bored stupid of it!

the key fob just pulls apart and snaps back together
Sorry to be thick but how does it snap open? looks sealed pretty well to me.

I have just discoved after having the car ages that there is a tiny button on my key, and in very small letters on the Key there are the wordslock/unlock door. Now i did not think my car had remote locking until i saw this, i mean to look at the key you would't think it was a remote fob,
Now it is not working I have tried it many times since finding out. The key doesn't look like it will come apart easily to replace a Battery etc, does anyone know how to get it working?

No it won't cost you a penny, you can only go to the ombudsman if you have complained to elephant in writing, and the outcome is not satisfactory to you.

I actually work for an insurance company, The whole point of insurance (going back to the days of marine insurance and lloyds brokers back in the day) is to put you back in the same financial postition you were in before you suffered the loss. no better or worse of. it's called Imdemnity ask Elephant if they have ever done there CII Training??? **** bunch of Circus animals!
If they play up say your gonna take them to the Financial Ombudsman, it will cost elephant money if you take them there, even if they are not in the wrong!!

now you have an ls400 you should be changing into your slippers before driving it
May I remind you that I am 24, And where my Timms or My Shox when driving the LS, not my slippers!!
And if you don't know what Timms or Shox are, you should be the one wearing slippers whilst driving!

Sounds like yours is an import, right? Sometimes prices tend to be a bit lower for imports, and it may negate any price gains you expect after all your upgrades.
No mate, mine is A UK car!

it doesn't!! The standard kit was crap and has been de-listed by thatcham, I know this as I work in insurance.
You have to get a cat 2 fitted for insurance purposes,

I have had/Been Driving Fast cars etc since I was 17, Cossie's, RS Turbos, Volvo T5's, and so on.. Had my first LS400 @ 21 and paid around £1100 to insure it. Now I am 24 Drive an LS400 and have had one fault accident and one SP30.
Well im 31 and been quoted £605 from Adrian Flux for a GS300 SportSo i say this 31 yr old is getting ripped, cos my car is a group 19 and I am only paying £585 F/C with Norwich Union Direct! (QUOTE ME HAPPY!!) They bloody well did, £200-£300 cheaper than Churchill and Elephant etc!!
