  1. Hi guys I don't want to put a spanner in the works but I came across these http://www.astrodoneps.co.uk and wanted to know if anyone has tried them, I'm planning to order some shortly.
  2. Can these be fitted to the front aswell?
  3. Hi Guys, I'm meant to be getting my rear discs and pads changed, my friend is going to be changing them for me but is being abit hesitant as he says that the discs are really rusty and may need to be forced off and may break some parts inside, what I need to know is what other parts I may need to purchase just in case something does break? (I have already purchased the pads and discs) Cheers
  4. I've had my lowering springs fitted for about 5 weeks now and am very pleased with them, I've loaded it up with people and luggage in the boot and havn't had any problems.
  5. Hi everyone, Just wanted to know if anyone has ever purchased warranty from Warranty Direct and if they got any hassels when it came to making a claim? I'm thinking of purchasing this and am unsure so all advice is welcome. Cheers
  6. Hi Chris, I don't want to be a pain and don't mind if it is not possible but can I change my order to a black set please Cheers Chandy
  7. Cheers guys for the fast response :D Ok I guess to be on the safe side I better go for the DBA discs with standard pads, so far I've got a good price for the pads but does anyone know of a better price than £361.68 for the discs?(this is including 10% discount & £20 delivery) don't want to sound too tight and don't mind paying that if that is the going rate but it's worth a try if anyone knows of a better price. Cheers again
  8. I have been quoted £207.97 for front DBA discs and £173.90 for the rear discs with a £20 delivery charge and 10% discount does this sound right or am I just being tight? Also got quoted £109 for EBC grooved and spotted discs are these worth putting onto the car or should I avoid them altogether I am also unsure if I should replace to front pads as the dealer told me that 30mm is the minimum and I have 29.72mm remaining and am unsure how much life is left in them. I was planning to change the whole lot to save me the hassle of changing them at a later stage as the rears need doing. Any advice would be appreciated.
  9. Hi everyone, I've just got a phone call from the Lexus garage where my car is having a 60,000 mile service and they have told me that the disc'c and pads need changing at a cost of £600 What I need to know is would I be better off buying the original parts from them and getting my friends to fit them, they work at a tyre & exhaust specialist place, which carry out disc & pad changes Also pointed out that one of the shock absorbers will need to be changed in the near future, any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
  10. Hi Mate, Can I get a set of Pre 2001 spec mats (Beige) please and I really need these ASAP if poss as I have just had my car valeted and the garage where I have bought the car from has supplied me with mats that don't do the car any justice They are still in the boot as I refuse to put them in If it is possible to get these before Jan I would greatly appreciate it please let me know so that I can arrange payment and also what methods of payment you will accept. Cheers and I hope everyone has a very merry xmas. :D
  11. Does this mean that the PI springs are crap? I have'nt a clue with all of this stuff and all I require is advice, should I or should'nt I go for the PI springs? I need to know if the only difference is with the brand? Or are they just not worth fitting, I don't mind paying the bling to get Eibach's fitted but if the only difference is brand then I'll settle for the PI's as I can get a better deal when I purchase springs, alloys and tyres together.
  12. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to find out about lowering my IS200se with PI springs by a 35mm drop. Basically I keep noticing on the forum that the Eibach's are probably the prefered springs to be used in this car but have been quoted a good price to get the car lowered with PI springs which I think is 5mm lower than the Eibachs, I now need to know if there would be any difference bettween the two apart from the 5mm difference and also any problems I might encounter if I lower by 35mm and put a set of 18" alloys?
  13. Can I get a set aswell please? I don't know this works but please let me know the process payment and everything. Cheers
  14. Hi can anyone help, I'm new to this owners club I've even gone gold but hav'nt got my IS200 yet! (until next week) I've seen a group buy on some carmats which were cream in colour with a black Lexus simbol on it and now I can't find it! I really want a set of them so if someone could help please. Also wanted to know if the gold members discount includes services on the car?
  15. Ive just become a gold member! Do I need to get some sort of codes or something to enter as a gold member from my email account?
  16. Hi anyone and everyone, I have found a 1999 IS200 which has been financially repo'd from a company and have had the RAC do a check on the car, I just need some advice now.......The RAC found that there was 1) leak from behind the water pump 2) Exhaust has a very limited life. The garage is going to fix the leak but not the exhaust and I need to know what my options are if I buy the car, does anyone know the price of an original full Lexus exhaust and also if I'm better off spending the same cash on a non Lexus exhaust?
