    Hi guys If I were to import a car from Ireland to the UK, would I have to put a british plate on it, if its got irish mot would i have to get a british mot and if its got tax would i have to get british tax???? Also I may have couple of grand to spend on an Late Ls400 soon, so if anyone wants to sell me a late one 99-2000 do let me know.

    I hope so. There is a light green one on ebay starting of at a £1000. Its a 99 t reg, its got full history but brake pad warning light just come on. I dont know whether to check it out. 2 owners

    Hi guys I called the guy up on the day he advertised the 2000 model ls400 in devon, he wanted £3800 for it. He called me up last night after his sale had ended and told me it sold privately.

    I agree with Noby76 I would buy my own oil and take it to a specialist and stay and watch them do it. I know you went to a main dealer, but sometimes I dont trust a main dealer. They wanted to charge me £690 to replace a vsv on my ls430, they told me they put my car on their diagnostic machine and the problem code was for a vsv. It turned out that wasnt the problem at all, it was a lamda sensor. Also when i took it to another Lexus dealer, they advised to replace a vsv on my ls430 was £390.

    Im the same. Whenever i see an Ls400, i wished i had one and wished i hadnt sold mine. Its hard finding a decent 400. But im after a later model 99-2000. I may even swap for a 2000 model in good condition etc etc. But i cant find one.

    Im using Michelin Primacy. Thing is even when the road surface is bad, the ls400 is still quiet. But this ls430 is something else. I regret selling my ls400. Okay the 430 has all the toys, but the 400 in my opinion is a proper Lexus

    Hi guys Is it just me or does everyones ls430 make alot of road noise? The ls400 is super quiet when driving. I couldnt hear any road noise in the 400, but this ls430 is something else. So im looking for a later ls400 to do a deal with, but a good one is hard to find.

    I had issues with my ls430 cd player, what I did was take the negative terminal off the battery for 5mins then placed it back on and it reset the sound system and it started working. I then called Lexus Birmingham and told them how can Lexus claim the Mark Levinson system is the best etc when we keep getting faults with it? Mine is a 2001 ls430. I told them i have another car with the Denon system in it since 1994, and to this day it still works. Same amp same cd player and speakers. They didnt have an answer except we are sorry.

    Hi I have a friend who has a 54 reg ls430 with 62000 miles and its had 4 owners. He bought his car recently from lexus dealers.

    Yes its very common on the ls430. Dealers said you will have to replace the glass but even then it will happen again. It doesnt happen on the ls400 though. Thats another reason why I think the ls400 is a better car than the ls430

    If you guys wanna see a proper fit woman on tv that does a programme like Top Gear look on one of them arab channels or internet for a car programme called Motor x. This woman is an arab and is proper fit. Better than than VBH and that german bird. Seriously

    He has slagged the Lexus off since they were built I have to agree with you on that. I remember on top gear once they were showing the motorshow, I cant remember what year it was, but they asked him this question, "what is the best car at this motorshow" and he replied "i have to say the Ford Focus". Now can someone tell me how the hell is the ford focus the best car at a motorshow, when you have cars like Lexus, Audi and Bmw there too. It was so obvious he got paid to say the Ford Focus.
