  1. My phone is still only allowing me to add one picture per post, so apologies for the next 2 posts...
  2. Finally, Blue is booked in to have his wheels refurbished. I have been increasingly embarrassed about the condition of the wheels (through curbing and jet washing, they are like this because of me 😔)
  3. So, a week on and everything looks good, nothing obvious yet, no big rains... But I'm thinking it was just a build up of gunk behind the rear light screw section.
  4. I did have a good look around the seal. Yes, everything is pressed down correctly when boot lid is down.
  5. Indeed, I will have a look behind the number plate. There has to be an obvious issue. I'm thinking the dirt in the rear lights screw channel area might be culprit number 1,but moisture in the boot lid could be screws from the number plate
  6. Lots of moisture here. Rear panel is now drying out on the kitchen radiator
  7. I thought that initially, but can't see where water might get in... Though I haven't taken the panel off to check, that is tomorrow's job. I've had the car since Jan 17 and have not had the rear window repaired/though also not checked the seal, waiting on smoke bomb. Eek.
  8. There are many things I have always been too scared to do myself, so taking all these panels off was a very anxious time for me. Lol. At least I know now for future that the lights are only held in place by the 2 bolts, a bit of a wiggle and pull and they come out. Don't press in any other pins.... They are nothing to do with the light... I need to work out how to access them from the other side to push back in again.
  9. Indeed, I had the panels up to check. There was a small pile or 2 of damp mud/leaves right at the bottom, so something is getting in somewhere.. I might have to get further investigative persons. Lol
  10. Indeed. A friend suggested a cheap smoke bomb without obour to see where a leak could be. But yes, I will get a couple of those Dehumidifiers from the supermarket
  11. Or how to push them back in. They are high up on the bumper beneath the pointed bit of the rear light. Any help on this would be greatly received
  12. But, in originally trying to get the lights out, I have loosened / unpopped two red plastic pins and I do not know what they are for.
  13. And I will continue to monitor this, but the boot lid panel being wet is also a concern. I will have a look at this tomorrow
  14. So, there are no apparent drainage holes around the outside of the boot, but the rear lights have a lot of dirt and gunk in there
  15. So, yesterday I put an electric heater in the boot to start heating up and removing moisture before I tackled the panels to try and find the problem
  16. There has clearly been a build up over a couple of weeks that limited driving has not noticed
  17. So, I noticed that I had some moisture in the boot yesterday and sought to find the source.
