  1. Also a 7 minute vacuum is for from a long enough time. The main point of the vacuum is to eliminate any moisture from the system, the absolute least amount of time for the vacuum is 20 minutes. I usually do it for about 45 minutes
  2. You either get lucky or you don't with the crank pulleys on both the 200 and 300. We've had 3 of us on a scaffold bar on a pulley bolt on a 300 before. When they get stuck on the easiest way is with a puller (something like this http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-pulley-puller-66868.html). You'd have to put the pulley bolt in a bit and wind in the threaded bar in the puller and it will start to pull the pulley off the shaft.
  3. No adjustment as it's a hydraulic clutch so the only way is for you to compare it with another car and see what you think but other than that its gearbox removal and physically assess the condition of the clutch and flywheel. That may sound daunting but to take a gearbox out of an IS220 is not a big job at all, I did my first clutch replacement on one in about 3 hours so someone who has done a fair few could do it in about 2 I would say
  4. Bada Bing - Benny Banks Breed - Nirvana Part III - Bad Religion
  5. 12 hours way excessive to do a cambelt service on a 430. Even 8 at a dealer is excessive. I would say about 5 hours (from personal experience)
  6. Make sure the parking brake works properly as the cables like to seize. Radiators like leaking. Rear calipers like siezing on slide pins
  7. How dare you accuse me of being lazy :P When I'm servicing them I generally find that the caliper sliders have siezed long before the rear brakes require renewing so they are as they left Japan
  8. You can now get 15" setup on the CT but they are so wallowy and understeery I would rather have the harsher ride (which IMO is fine)
  9. OEM front discs are sided and have a L and R engraved on the hub face of the disc
  10. The TPMS is a separate sensor that can be swapped from wheel to wheel but a lot of the time they are a bitch to remove as the alloy cap has corroded and siezed solid
  11. You can't get genuine CT park sensors. They are just not available (Lexus technician speaking here). They are only genuine Lexus if fitted from factory
  12. You should get a service check sheet with all your other service paper work. When I do a service we have to fill in a VSR and check sheet which should then be handed to the customer at collection
  13. Welcome to the Lexus forums Muleatron :)
