  1. The sat nav in my 2012 car which is a Toyota unit that the Lexus shares is crap. My £80 Garmin Zumo I use on my bikes is easier to use and better at route finding. My Lexus one won`t even take a full postcode
  2. I got my CT in December 2012 after owning two Prius`s over seven years. The build quality of the Lexus is light years ahead of the Toyota, and I really mean that. The Prius was always 100% reliable, but the quality of materials was shocking.
  3. You can tell if a caliper is seized by just spinning the wheel. You don`t have to remove it. I have to say it tends to be rare on cars that are used regularly.
  4. I started a thread on here a while ago to see if there were any bikers. I have several bikes and have been riding since 1977. Actually, my wife does more miles in the Lexus than myself as I use my bikes everyday. If you also like watches you should join the ukgser form. Several watch collectors on there and they are advertised in the for sale section now and then. I am a Canary. so I follow the other end of the table! I play 5 a side twice a week and have recently started playing table tennis again after a 25 year break. I can play golf, but only play very occasionally as I can take it or leave it. Used to play to 15. Much prefer footy. I spend a lot of time on golf courses though as I work on several of the bigger UK tournaments. Off to Hoylake next week in fact. Not looking forward to the day I can`t play footy and ride my bikes. Might have to get another MG then!
  5. The B setting increases the regenerative braking effect i.e. puts more charge back into your battery whilst slowing you down more quickly. If you are anal about max mpg you will love it. I can only be bothered to use it on a long decline. My wife never uses it!
  6. VFR750 now departed and replaced with a BMW R1150R, Very relaxed cruising, 4K revs at 80mph.
  7. Your mistake was not ordering Solar Yellow. It is by far the best colour and extremely rare. I still haven`t seen another on the road.
  8. I will check if my CT200 does have that feature. I haven`t noticed it up to now. By the way, when I went to reply to this I hit the report tab instead of quote tag. I don`t know what happens as there was no `confirm` opportunity so if you get some contact from the forum police you are forewarned!
  9. I should have added that the rear wiper cannot be used when carrier is fitted, but you can`t see much out of the window anyway!
  10. I bought a Halfords bike carrier a couple of years ago to use on my Prius. It is an excellent design and can take three bikes. It came with a list of fitments for hundreds of cars, but not the CT200. It comes with four different length pairs of struts that clip on to the top of the hatch. There are also several other ways of adjusting to fit each car herefore the permutations are huge. I have just spect this morning playing around to see if it will fit the CT200 and I have finally craked it, Here are some pics. I didn`t bother adjusting the angle of the bars that the bikes sit on as that is a seperate thing to the fitting of the rack and is a two second job.
  11. Honda CBX1000 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa What is the other one that has been chopped?
  12. Here is a good guide http://www.allyearbiker.co.uk/ACF50.html
  13. See here http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l2736&_nkw=acf50 I always but the big bottles with the pump up spray bottle as I generally only use a spray for awakward intricate areas and apply using a paint brush elsewhere as the spray tends to waste loads. This time of year, get it to room temp or sit in a bowl of hot water for a bit before use. It is a thin liguid so only apply sparingly, but making sure you do cover everything. Any excess will dip off and be wasted. It really is an awesome product.
  14. We bikers use a product that was developed for aeronautical use called ACF50 to protect from salt during the Winter months. It is incredible. I apply it to my bike late October and leave it until the last frost in the Spring. No washing at all. The bike is caked in ******* by this time but once removed it comes up like a new pin. Awesome. Keep it off your discs and pads though!
