Nope not a sausage, it doesnt lock and unlock on its own, i have the master key and nothing happens...

Ive got a new battery in my key as the other one has been flat for sometime. I need to reprogramme the central locking, the car starts and runs on the key just wont lock or unlock. I have seen many proceedures for replacment keys but they havnt worked. What do i need to do?

Hi, I am getting my bonnet and front bumper sprayed and i just want to make sure i have the right paint code. My car is the dark greay (Granite Sky) I have done a search and I think the paint code is 1C6, is this correct? and is this a universal number or specific number to lexus. Thanks

I seem to keep coming back to 1jz swap but its a little to much work that i want to do. I dont really want to give the car up for the time it will take to do. I will go for a supercharger for a temporary measure i think. Thanks for the help

Will the is200 gearbox fit an is300 engine?

Yea I dont think they did an is300 manual, or if they did they are rare. I am sure someone else will.know for sure.

I am unsure, ive been told its a simular block, i also think the gs or is300 gearbox are only auto's but i want a manual.

If your not sure about that is/gs300 engine, i may be interested.. but need to know what else i would need to do for the swap? Will the gearbox mount straight to it etc? Also would the tte supercharger fit the is300 engine? Cheers

Has anyone had any problems using them, i am only looking at 3mm or maybe 5mm shims and my 18's sit a good 3/4 inch inside the wheel arch at the front and the rear arches are rolled so they can tale a little more. I do t really want to change the performance of the car just the look. Cheers

I had the same a few years ago I would bet that caliper is siezed on, i bought a brake rebuild kit from www.biggred.co.uk and done both sides, cheap and very quick delivery. I doubt the disc is warped

why would the water pump go in the next 6 to 12 months after 14 years of being fine? I think he said it was £119

I spoke to toyota, they said there is no point changing the tensioner, idler or waterpump unless they are noisey... £75 gets me the cambelt with the 3 other belts or £350 odd for the other bits aswell. the guy was saying its not like a ford or a vauxall engine where you must change the tensioner or they will break :p

I would say it was fine, its not like the car has been majorly clocked, it just looks like lazy mot guys checking the odometer i have had this alot with all my vehicles

Well it is a Toyota, so they are very good on reliability, how old is the car? mines 14 years old, passed every mot since i've owned it (6 years) only ever had the number 6 coil pack go at the back of the engine, and drove it home fine with the problem. 28mpg is pretty good too, i get around 21mpg but i have a lead right foot :p The only real downside with the car is it could do with more power....
