evening all...just bought some lexus roof bars from a dealer....anyone know if thule 591 cycle carriers will fit bars or anyone know which ones will fit....

thanks for all your comments.....all sorted now, visited lexus chester who cleaned all a/c system....according to lexus service records it had never been done so there's a lesson, although i have only owned it for 3 months the previous owner had never bothered and the car is a 58 plate......all good now and smells like it should be.....recommend lexus chester, very nice chaps....

lexus chester told me to put a/c on cold for 10 mins full blast, then 10 mins. boiling hot then another 10 mins freezing cold.......done that, just the same. Think i will have to pay a visit to get it deodarised.....£49.99 apparently !!

my car stinks !!!!......a 2008 is 250...put a/c off and air in car stinks, is it the cabin pollen filter that needs changing and how often should it be changed ?

anyone out there know anything about roof bars for my is250 MY2008....Need some urgently and also do i need to drop the doors to fit them ?.......

Wallace......Lexus Wolves have agreed to change my front tyres for the correct ones, Turanza's 33's. No problem with this dealership at all, left me a car to play with for the weekend be it a toyota, tyres fitted on Monday as apparently a rare tyre !! my car is silver on a 58 plate.

not so much on dry but as you say, slightly damp, its almost unbearable. I had bridgestone tyres on a lot of saab's i owned. when i got to the tramlining stage, i recently changed them to ''evergreen'' tyres......approx £60 per tyre for a 225 45 18.....brillant, car was very sure footed after that,1/2 price of a bridgestone. my car goes back to dealer tomozz for investigation, drivers door mirror (mind of its own), hand brake nears adjusting, cracked rear reflector lense...... only had car 2 weeks, i thought these guys were the ''bees knees'' for customer service ? not impressed yet !!

i have had an issue with my tyres on my 2008 is250, 255 40 18 turanza e55 on back, 225 40 18 potenza 050a on front. Only had car a week, terrible tramlining.....black circle state that these tyres should not be used in '' near freezing conditions''. Spoke to BRIDGESTONE UK who also state that this combination is not correct for my vehicle and should be all the same pattern. A lexus dealer confirms this.....your thoughts please

in same position really, just wondering if i should take out a service plan on my 2008 is250 at £31 per month for 31 months for next 3 services. My local SAAB authorised repairer state they can do the servicing using genuine parts for 75% cheaper than a lexus dealer !!!
