  1. hmm food for thought indeed. I think at this point i'll call Jemca and take it from there. Hopefully they willl be able to do something.
  2. I could do it just for the drive!! thank for the for offer pal!
  3. they look fantastic!! I simply don't have the time for any DIY though. But seriously good work there!
  4. Apparently they are very prone to having a lot of corrosion requiring more than your average amount of work. It's just a shame as the alloys are all that are keeping her from looking quite prestine
  5. Hi all My 17" 5 spoke alloys are in really bad condition with curbing all around and corrosion on all wheels. I have been looking around but I can as there is corrosion apparently they need to be sand blasted and/or chemical dipped etc and quotes are coming in excess of £200. To be honest I was happy paying circa £160 for a mobile van but on such an old car I feel somewhat reluctant to spend the money which is a shame as the rest is pretty immaculate now. I live in Bromley, Kent, and there seems to be no-one willing to take this one as soon as i mention "Lexus IS200". Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks
  6. Hi folks I have purchased a new air temp sensor as my car currently reads "--". I have read that it is located somewhere behind the bumper offside. However I simply can't find it. Is this a bumper off / wheel arch lining job off, or am I being dense? Thanks Vin
  7. Wow thanks all!! Yes the Coupe was designed by Pininfarina and a really lovely car to drive, but yes the Lexus is something else I must admit! I am enjoying being back in RWD again but I need to get my TC back online, but on the plus side it makes rainy days a little interesting! https://www.dropbox.com/s/z5dtvhsf7pb0xco/12122011.jpg Very nice to see another forum with great people!
  8. Thanks Janey! Im still unsure whether this will be a stop over or i'll invest time in and keep her but either way, thoroughly impressed with Japanese engineering!
  9. Hi folks! As a long time member of the 406 Coupe Club it's great to see another bunch of enthusiasts! Lovely car to drive! Thanks Vin
