I,ve looked at the Lexus price promise but can find any quotes for post 2008 models, do they not publish service costs etc on more recent/younger models?

Interesting link above, I was told when picking up our IS300 after cambelt change that Lexus were trying to get the "older cars" serviced by them at a "fair" cost. I wonder what the equivalent charges are for post 2005 cars?

Son had a similar problem with his IS200, all the usual things were investigated but his problem was that one tyre was delaminating on the inside. Tyre was not that old and was replaced FOC

Interesting quote from "The Transporter" My son has an IS200 Sport,had new tyres fitted by well known independant tyre company who also did four wheel geometry, some time later same problem with inside wear on front. Went back and complained and they stated that the geometry was set up as per softwear on equipment. He had two new front tyres fitted and took old ones to Lexus garage who then set up the geometry again and he now finds that the original problem has been solved, Lexus charged about half of what the independant did !!

Perhaps they have changed the OEM settings without "admitting liability". Its not unknown just to stop spurious claims!

Have Lexus now conceded that there was a problem with OEM geomerty and have now modified their setting in line with WIM findings or am I mistaken.

Just has quote from nearest Lexus dealer of £355 inclusive for new cambelt,tensioners and auxillary belts for IS 300.

Mine came with two keys - both two buttons only both same colour. Which one is master key ?

Mine is red and will be in Swansea over the weekend.
