  4. Ive found a usa company that sells turbo kits for the is200 for less than scrap£2000+p&p There called turbokits.com if anyone wants one.
  5. Piper is better. Becuase its much much easyer to clean :)
  6. As above which I forgot to ask ages ago theres a knocking from the rear pasagers side of the car but all the bushes are fine and so is the springs, it mostle happens when you go over speed bumps and its not the jack lol. Any one know what this could be as the car has been looked at by a few garages and friends and nobody can find anything wrong. Thanks.
  7. Ive had 5 cars with a dmf and thay have all been made funny noises .
  8. Its becuase of the sizes, the is200 is the same size as a ford focus mk1 and the is200 front discs are 35mm bigger and the rear are 60mm bigger with two pots, my brother lives out there makes me laugh what he calls somethins lol.
  9. Sway bars lol thought you was from uk? There anit roll bars lol, also my mate just binned a set of them for white line ones and said there 10x better than eibachs. Im using performance tyres lol thats why my tyre size is 215/24ZR17 lol, im fitting poly bushes and lower sturt braces upper ones are just for looks, braking wise the lexus is spot on for its power and on really need uprating for track or 300bhp.
  10. Oh and the head, if I can get a spare one ill be doing some custom work to that.
  11. Lexus is200 handles like ****, she rolls like feck which to fix all of her problems im going to leave the hardest till last. I always upgrade whats needed most and for the size of the car she needs more power, also ive got a spare 75bhp nos kit so thats goibg in to :P as for how much power im looking to reducing the trans loss by half and having over 200bhp while still n/a.
  12. Eninge aux's Custom lightened alloy pulleys Lightened crank pulley Remove a/c system And maybe more Also theres smaller wheels for power handing and 0 -60 times
  13. IntakeCustom piping Piperx cone Ported t/b Exhaust 6-2-1 manifold Custom manifold back exhaust Transmission Lightened single mass flywheel Stage 2 clutch Short shifter
  14. Yeah intake mods and exhaust mods first then transmission then wheels and tyres then suspension. Not sure it was in 4th or 5th as it topped out at 109mph.
  15. I know what you mean by better, the steering feels shaper and more responsive but really you have less grip.
  16. The hardered the tyre is the less grip it has, ie your tyres will handle better at 33psi than 38psi.
  17. What about 15s?I know pro race 15s fit over ford 300mm brakes but do you think thay fit over the 309mm rears on the Lexus?
  18. 117hp@6373rpm at the wheels. Also lexus says the is200 has 160ps which works out to be 158bhp not 153bhp that stated everywhere. And no I hanvt done the service yet. But from factory figures im down on bhp and torque.
  19. Lexus says33front 33 rear for normal load for speeds upto 100mph Fully loaded is 33 front and 35 rear. 38 front and 39 rear is for doing 140mph This info is on the drivers door!
  20. Lol fwd cars mostly lose 15 to 20 % rwd and 4wd cars can lose upto 50%. And my is200 had a dyno today and i lost 39.9bhp which thats a lot more than 10 or 15% lol.
  21. Thay fit the hubs but im not sure if thay will clear the brakes.
  22. As above roughly how much horse power does the is200 loss transferring power from the flywheel to the wheels? Yes I know moskt will differer from others but what would you say is the average or acceptable amount? Thanks
  23. Lately ive found a lot of oil filters to be a pig to get off lol, on my astra I had to put a screw driver though it and urn it off that way but inside of coming off I cut the oil filter in half lol. I hate it when gearboxs try to confuse you, ill just have my mate change the gearbox fuild then as it wont take him half the time to get the gearbox off if it goes tits up lol.
