  1. I'm replacing the 2 front calipers and discs+pads only have the car a month "2nd is200" ;) but the car had been lying up for a year and a half , was only getting about 15mpg was the giveaway seems to be a common problem with all the whole range of lexus having brake sticking issues good luck with the fix Lee
  2. Yeah @ these prices the sticking caliper/pistons maybe an issue of the past why bother rebuilding them ? ;)
  3. Quick update almost a year later and the hids are still going strong Have had them in 3 different cars and without any issue s whatsoever. so I guess you do always get what you pay for . The hids4u ballasts take about 3 Seconds or less to get up 2 temperature with no flickering or shorts ;)
  4. Hi I know its an old post but you can get re manufactured ones on ebay for £47.50 delivered ;) http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=231133233667
  5. Pete their the ones im sending back :) Puchased a proper set from hid4u insted and yes the coupon "toyota pro " still works people hehehe :-)
  6. Will do Pete would be nice to put up a few pics with one side done for comparison :) Actually ordered a 6000k set of eBay @£55 including delivery but after a 16 day of watching the letter box each morning decided to bite the bullet cancell that order and go for the quality ones after a little research , These are the cheepy ones the seller said they would take a hour to fit WTF ? that was the final nail in the coffin for me , haha :0) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HB4-6K-AC-HID-Bulb-Conversion-Kit-Lexus-200-QF10281-/350714941089?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item51a83d4ea1 Just hope will get my full refund but states you will lose the 15 quid on shipping :(
  7. haha the code still works just ordered a 5000k 35w set for the dipped beams ,"hb4" was £97 now £74 which is very close to the heaps of s**t they are selling on ebay . cant wait to get them will report back on fitting and overall look etc but reccon should be safe ordering from these guys + worth the extra for peace of mind :D
  8. Yes that makes sence with a full tanks extra weight alright :) I also got mine as was becoming very annoying and awkward with a 2door celica and a 3 year old to hustle into the back baby seat every morning :( Now she can climb in on her own with no help from mum and dad and no more bad backs for us too whoopee ! Even if the mpg was only 25mpg it's still worth the extra as such an awesome car :0)
  9. Good we cleared that up thanks Stuart :) , guess the sport cross is a little heavier so less mpg ? This is also one of the best car I've had and I've had quite a few including a 2005 Honda accord with similar spec apart that had tiptronic :( The ect pwr button is also great fun if you don't mind caning the juice ...
  10. hi Yes should I have created a new tread ? though would be nice for an update ? :outforcount:
  11. Snow mode is a must for around town , drive a auto worst mpg I got was about 22mpg , However filled up with €20 @ 1.57 per liter = 12.73 liters and got a whopping 35mpg one or two trips on the moterway but mainly shot town trips :) worked out @ 100miles for €20 why drive anything else ? :hocus-pokus:
