  1. Why will you swap the hub carriers if the flanges have zero run out?
  2. Can someone post a link so i know 100% i am ordering the right thing. They are just the next avenue i am going down to try and cure my long standing brake/front end judder problem Thanks
  3. Well things are looking up, she flew through the MOT today!! Still loads of judder although not enough for my friendly MOT tester to fail her. Next stop lower front suspension arm bushes!! i have new discs ready to fit but i didn't want to fit them until after my mechanic had checked my calipers, which are fine.
  4. Sorry to butt in. Tony- Can you empty your inbox so i can message you please, I assume thats why my message wont send? Ta
  5. Not much else i can change on the front. I can only assume that one of the new recon calipers is a dud, doesn't seem to be binding but it might be just a little?? Who knows!!!!
  6. Replacing the hub assembly is not a 100% bullet proof fix as proven by my own experience.
  7. Well i can confirm the having now replaced the NSF upper suspension wishbone there has been no improvement whatsoever. However i can now tick off one more thing thats its and the annoying graunching noise has gone away. I reckon one of my 2 recon replacement calipers must be a bit crap and is dragging on the disc resulting in a warped disc, i cant imagine what else it can be. Are the WIM suspension settings available anywhere online, i can't justify a 400 mile round trip to get the geometry set up!!!
  8. Just had a new pair of rear tyres fitted as its MOT time in 2 weeks and i had had my monies worth out of them!! I got the front wheels rebalanced and put on the back and the new tyres put on the front and if anything its worse lol
  9. I think if you have the skills you can somehow get the balljoint out of the arm, they are certainly available on ebay. Personally i will be fitting a good used complete arm from a reliable source. If this doesn't work i am out of ideas!!
  10. Popped into the garage who does my work for me on the car. Gave the suspension a once over using a long bar as a lever to locate any play in any of the bushes. Only play anywhere is NSF top wishbone balljoint, but according to my mechanic/mot tester it is only enough for an advisory on the mot. So i'm going to change that. After that f*ck knows!!!! MY NAME IS MIKE AND I (CURRENTLY) HATE MY LEXUS!!!!! lol
  11. 800 miles since i had my complete hub assemblies fitted along with more new discs and just prior to that a pair of new calipers and the dreaded judder is back!!! Oddly it is not as bad if i am braking and have knocked her into neutral. I shall be trying lower suspension control bushes or complete arms if i can get them cheap( i know a dude in the trade). Failling that anybody want to buy a lexus!!!!! lol
  12. Used hubs and new discs fitted. 300 miles driven and touch wood all is well :D
  13. They are complete hub assemblies so no need for bearing swaps. Guarenteed 'Good' from a trusted source and the pair were £30 less than 1 new flange and bearing so i made the decision that it was worth a punt. I'm going to fit the pair of hubs and a pair of my used discs that have be skimmed on my lathe at work to a tolerence of 0.025mm. As i say here's hoping
  14. I'm chancing it with a pair of used hubs. Here's hoping : )
  15. My mechanic is really good and that was his opinion. I also phoned my mate in Southampton who has been a main dealer mechanic for 25 years and also spanners on a 520bhp escort cosworth at the weekend for another friend, he said that although he hadn't seen the car from the description i gave him in his opinion it could only be the hub that is at fault : (
