  1. It always seems to be that the pr**s in lane 3 doing the most mph are the ones that took the least time to clear their windows, just relying on the wipers and rsh to clear for them!! mutter mutter Dave
  2. PaulyDude Can you let me know where you got a FULL!!! set for 31 squid cos I need some urgently!! Cheers Dave
  3. Thanks Stew, done that, will wait for details with bated breath!! Dave
  4. My '93 has (ignore all the others) 2 motors that power the seat back forwards and backwards, I mean it used to! (This is an assumption based on how it moves now as opposed to how it used to!) Now only the doorside one works, so the seat back will only move backwards and forwards on one side. Not really a problem 'cos its stopped at my seat position, but the wifes complaning! Is it a common problem? Is it liable to be wiring or motor? Is it easy to fix? I can't even see how to remove the seat! Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Cheers Dave
  5. When I first got my '93 3 years ago, I found a stutter/hesitation at between 45 and 50 on a light/steady throttle. Anything other than that and it was unnoticeable. It went into Lexus Canterbury and spent 2 hours on their machines, they put a new Lambda sensor in and it made a marginal difference that lasted about a month. I've now got used to it, its no better and no worse, I've changed all the usual stuff, Plugs filters, leads etc etc and nothing makes any difference - I just live with it. (Like I live with the blown clock and the A/C screen and the fact that I have no dashboard lighting until the temp gets above 7 degrees, and no tacho needle ever!) Its probably one of the computers, but finding which one plus buying another would probably cost more than the cars worth so............ Dave
  6. That would be good, cheers royt. How was the job, just difficult or VERY difficult? What else did you replace at the same time, going by the list on the page at Lextreme, its gonna be EXPENSIVE. Dave
  7. Hi All A while ago I saw somewhere (I hope it was here!!) a set of photos and a brilliant description of how to replace the timing belt on an LS400. Like an idiot, I didnt print it/save it, and now I cant find it anywhere. If somebody could point me to it, I will be very grateful. Cheers Dave
