  1. sorry to but in but where can you buy this stuff from?
  2. I had the same problem, i got the full bumper painted and the car polished £160 all in and a good job done, if any one is local to Bishop Auckland i can give you the number
  3. Hi all I filled my 09 220d up this morning and when i go up a hill/bank the car seems to loss power as though its not getting enough fuel, you put your foot down nothing will happen it has a cough then picks up again, this is only going up hillits fine on the straight road. anyone had this problem? cheers Ray
  4. All I did was go to euro parts gave the reg for the car and said I wanted a Bosch battery they said that they could get one the next day and the price would be £116,00 but it turned out I didn't need a battery after all.
  5. Well I had the battery tested today and it's fine fully charged which is strange, car would not turn over yesterday then I got the breakdown guy out he jump started the car and I took it for a run of about 5 mile to try and charge the battery a bit, The car started fine today and battery's ok, I hope more serious trouble is not brewing. Thanks for all the comments
  6. The guy from Green Flag thinks its just the battery on the car, it fired up with a jump start it just seems strange its going to have a third battery on a car thats 5 year old. £118.00 was a quote from Lexus Teeside
  7. Hi is this straight forward to replace on a 220d and would i lose any settings? my car is 2009 and had a battery replacement from Lexus before i bought it. I would have thought the battery would have lasted a lot longer. Lights are on the dash ok but when you try and start the car there is just clicking noise then that just gets slower until it stops altogether. I hope its the battery and nothing else Any ideas from you lads? cheers
  8. I have Warranty Wise and just renewed it for the second year, it must be the same cover as yours Geoff and mine includes MOT failure and was £408 for the year, my 2009 220d went through its test ok a few months back so touch wood ive not had to ring them yet. Ray
  9. What oil would you use for the IS220D 09 plate? cheers
  10. If I remember right the SE L has rear sun blind electric memory seats blue tooth and a few more gadgets. When I bought mine, took it for a test drive I was happy with it and arranged a date to pick it up when I got home I joined this forum and looked at different posts on the SE L and thought all these toys on the car can't wait to pick it up, when I collected it got it home then realised something isn't right. When I posted on the forum a few lads said it should have all the toys on it then one lad said is it not the SE i model sure enough it was and I was getting mixed up the l was an i.
  11. Watch what you buy regarding model, When I bought mine I thought it was SE L with all the toys but it wasn't as was pointed out to me from this forum, mine turned out to be SE i which is the next one down
  12. Front brake discs and pads for 220d and an MOT £198 from my local garage. Can't be bad. Ray
