On a slightly different note, do you guys ever see incorrect speed signs on the display? My 2017 GS300h luxury (only had for a couple of weeks now) sometimes displays an 80 when on the motorway. And I noticed a 60 on a 50 A-road the other day. Just wondering if I should update my sat nav system (not that I have a clue about how to go about that - I won't be paying full dealer price, that's for sure)

Would love to walk away, but there are just none of these around for cheap! My thoughts are to get it cheaper due to wear, and then get it repaired.

Thanks for all the replies. Car is 4 years old, but yeah, still shouldn't happen imho. The rest of it is pretty spotless. Unfortunately it is not a lexus used approved, but does have a full lexus service history and is being sold by a reputable garage. There is actually more wear to the right hand side of the driver seat, just didn't get a pic of it. The pics posted are the worst of it. Ex taxi. Hmm...never thought of that! I just figured it was owned by a heavy couple! I think I still like the car, so it's really a question of repair. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Hi guys. Am looking to buy a used 2015 GS, and am worried about it's worn seats (and the ripped door sill). Do these look normal to you? Should I be worried? Easily refurbished? Any thoughts much appreciated.

Yeah, that was the one I was referring to. Seems a bit much to me, but have contacted a Lexus dealer to ask for a quote. Will report back here, just for completeness of this thread. I don't understand why it's such a difficult part to get hold of. I've just changed car from an old BMW 7 series, and one was spoilt for choice when it came to third party parts for that thing! And procedures on how to change easy stuff like this.

Thx for the warm welcome and a great reply. The replacements on eBay all look to be the wrong shape. There's one used pair on there but that's quite expensive at £40! And I find it strange that euro car parts don't have any. If anyone knows of any good links, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

Hi guys, Just got my new (used) 2007 IS 250 a couple of days ago. I've just noticed that one of the side/wing indicator/repeater lights has some condensation inside it. Does a) anyone know how I can get rid of it or b) know how I can remove it? Also, anyone know where I can find some good cheap replacements? Nothing in the user manual, and I've not had luck googling around and searching this website. Apologies if I've missed it. Any help - much appreciated.
