@ Craig - hello mate not seen you on here for ages! How's things going?

I am fine mate, pop on here on the odd occasion to see whos still around and to catch up on whats going on,

still missing my lex, have lost all interest in the rover..lol keep tempting myself to get anothe lex, just a little disapointed still at how easily the other one wrecked,

anyway back on subject, @ LEGENDSWRAITH,

have you got yours saved on disc as i have my product key still just cant download the file anymore as its been taken off!!! arghh always my luck.. lol

well i am glad somebody got it to download @ 3 about 3 gig in size my download kept failing at the end.. really annoying !!! but will try again soon

Thats so funny.. Not sure which was more funny the in depth pep talk and number crunching or the fact that leeroy just went for it.. I play online games a lot but not as bad as that where you actually get down to working out your % of survival..lol

Yes because the faster you are downloading the more processing power you need.. And that also use;s memory... Its like pass water though a 4" pipe into a 2" pipe ..(It will still go though but will take longer due to restrictions in size)

hi, well its nearly time to start on my alloys  :) , and I have a question :D . Ive read the car care section on scratches etc, but I have what can only be described as bubbles along the edge in a few areas. I think its corrosion, but what do I use to tackle them , would it be an abrasive wet and dry or a tiny file just to rub them down first . though i'm pretty handy renovating paint work, Im not sure what to use on these "bubbles". I think i would prefer to use a small file but I do need help on this. I have the paint already. picking up the rest tomorrow.

because the wheels have the problems spaced out Im going to spray the whole of the  rims after I have done the prep on them, it will be easier for me .

Im just amazed at what a cracking car it  , it has a lovely deep shine to it now, ive polished it four times now  :D , in fact I just enjoy polishing it

I stripped down my wheels to the bare alloy on my mk1 and used 2 coats white primer 3 coats graphite grey alloy wheel spray then 3 coats clear coat..

it was quite a while ago and theres a topic in here about it.. and the bath..lol if you find it you will no what i mean about the bath..lol

Well I have the best of both worlds .. a ps2 and a xbox.. i only kept the ps2 coz gt4 was comming out in a years time and i am glad i did keep it.. fantastic game.. and I truely do hope forza is as good.. if its better i will be amazed but i will not discount it before playing it.. anyway I was told at thw weekend that it is 22nd april and have a copy resevered.. :@)

I can also say with confidence that this has got to be the best club I have ever been in.. and know first hand on how generous and helpful L.O.C Members are.. so much so that I am still here and I dont have the Lex anymore but I dont wish to lose contact with those people I have met through here and still wish to help when I can, I can say that the MG-ROVER org is not as freindly.. But not that bad though ..lol

Its o.k guys I sorted it.. The firewall blocked it without me noticing when it first probed the settings.. Found it after a while.. so been on PGR for a bit..

O.k lol after using up my 6 gig download limited in a week...lol I have now upgraded.. so I bought xbox live today.. :D great.. apart from I cant get it to work.. I am using the ethernet card from the pc to the xbox and Its finding the cable fine but then keeps saying might be a dns error.. so I got the prim and secon dns figures from tiscali but i am still having problems.. Is it due to my network settings or what... somebody please help before i start on the fags again...

O.k its now up and running.. And I love it.. i used to sit the for 10 mins downloading a 2meg file now its about 10 secs..its great.. But i am having trouble with bit torrent.. each time I TRY DOWNLOADING it comes up with port 6881 blacklisted.. andbody know what this means??

Lol.. where you been hiding bobski.. I wrote the lex of b4 christmas.. now got the cough rover and starting the mods already.. First one was to remove the flat cap..

My experience with BT has been pretty good too

I had ADSL from them when you used to get that green frog type modem.

only had to call them a few times but the thick scottish accents were a little hard to understand at first, but they sorted out my problems in no time.

so I dont have anything bad to say about BT, and Ive never had to call NTL in the 2 years + ive had BB from them.

Yeah I wanted to get NTL but cant get it where i live.. But I have heard good things about tiscali as in service centres and no problems so Thats why I went there.. Good enough reason to me.. And as I am not a big downloader then 6 gig should be fine.. well lets hope so..lol

Not sure what ovp means.. but going buy his feedback rating I would buy from them.. over 99% positive on near 400 transactions is pretty damn good.. If you are sure they are the right seats then Its up to you mate.. dont want to sway you in any direction as it must be your own desicion I am only stating my thoughts...lol
