I to have looked at the ebay ones but never bought as i thought that they would not have anything of use in, The only items that i do have (thanks to a kind AA man )is 3 sheets of componant locating diagrams, jac -
I got my mk1 gs300 july last year, it is imaculate although does have 135000 on the clock, but having said that, it had all its servicing done at the correct intervals and all by lexus, I paid £6250 for my and as it was comming up for another service i told him that i wanted it done before i bought it... :D glad i did as the resulting full service bill was just short of £1000 with lexus bill to show it... and that was just after he put new boots on all round.. I almost felt sorry for him specially as i put down a deposit so he could not raise the price jac o and i love every minute in it

Like it....Just cant wait till i get the spoiler now B), just gotta remember measure twice drill once...lol thanks again for the help guys.. And because everybody is so helpful at this club I have just signed up for gold membership,

If i find some wires around the parcel shelf how will i know which are the correct ones.. or is that a really silly question. Cheers jac

O.k so i am just about to get a new spoiler and fit it, How hard can it be lol then you remember that you know nothing about electrics and the spoiler has a brake light built in..lol, I hoped it would be just a case of splicing the wires into the main rear brake light wires But then a freind of mine said that it may well make one of the rear brake lights dimmer than the other.... Help!!!!!!! does anybody out there have any ideas Thanks jac

I had a problem with something in my car and was talking to a guy that came into my work who happened to be a A.A guy he kindly let me photo copy 3 pages out of his book which he told me was a sackable offence and that i should not shout about it.. whoops just blown that one then..lol its for the gs300 1993 onward headed component locations , giving details of where things are hiding and what fuse's are what, also where all the relays are hidden, if you pm me with addy i can photo copy them and send them to you if you like, jac

Hi all, I am looking at putting a wrx spoiler on my mk1 gs300, my boot lid is 50 1/2" wide amd the wrx spoiler is 50", got a chance of buying one fairly cheap , any comments what do you think? jac

Can anybody tell me what a offset is? and what is the offset for my mk1 gs300 as I am looking at fitting some 17x9 or 18x9 alloys as my originals are a bit scabby and i am not that keen on them, I have seen a fair few tyres I like but am unsure on what I need infomation wise i.e how do i make sure the holes will line up and where should measure from? please help anybody :(

RE SCREWS :-I have looked all around the door but still cannot find any cover for that one screw,,,,, arghhhh frustrated o well will be waiting a while anyway got to get the service out the way first. thanks for your advice jac

Thanks rodders ..i had a sneaky idea that they were trying to rob me........ as for a helping hand i wish i was closer but as i am in the south its a fair way.. Ihave tried to take the door lining of to look although i got all the screw covers off and took out all the screws there was one that i could not work out which was right behind the door handle without any visible way of un-doing it??? If i cant find away of un doing it then i shall take it to a local place that specializes in speaker replacement..( any ideas on who makes the speakers)?

Hi everybody and merry christmas :) My drivers side door speaker has just blown and i was wondering if anybody knows what they think it would cost to replace and fit.... i only ask because i have asked my local lexus dealer ...gulp £100.oo +vat fitting and £138.00 +vat for a single door speaker !!!!! does this sound about right or are they trying it on???
