  1. By total accident and a closed petrol station I usually use, I ended up actually ran out of petrol in the IS300H. The computer readout was perfect. I was literally less than a 1 mins drive from the next petrol station which I drive to on the battery!
  2. My service was 125000 miles which was done last month. I have already done 15K in 6 months!
  3. Mid to late 40's for MPG. The mouse control is OK, but I got use to it quick. Check the setup setting for how the mouse works. I have mine set all the way to one side. In the middle I found it to confusing.
  4. Thanks for the reassurance Logan. I might have a trip to another Lexus dealer and see if they have any in now. Where did you get yours from? The Bolton Garage.
  5. My IS300h is the solid black to fit into my budget. I am really happy with the colour, glossy and shiny.
  6. I test drove the Premier and I went for the Luxury 17". I don't think I could tell the difference. The ride is very comfortable, I live in Manchester too!
  7. The IS300h has a 'snow' mode but it is rear wheel drive and the Lexus sales man actually said it is not very good in the snow. I have not had to drive it in the snow yet. The engine noise is not aggressive sounding at all, even at high revs. Although the outside sound is well dampened. There is also a 'fake' engine sound option in the *****-pit but I personally don't like it. More details here: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/84006-engine-sound-simulation/
  8. I have not heard and noises like that. I usually drive in Eco mode most of the time.
  9. I have the 300h and it is not slow when needed. Although it certainly sounds a lot different if you are looking for engine volume, it's a lot quieter and a very relaxing car to drive. The CVT grearbox is nice and smooth too. All that said when you want to set-up quick you can.
  10. I have had the IS300h luxury for a company car for under a month, it took 2 weeks to be delivered. I love the drive and the tax is very good even compared to the 320d. I leave the car to do the electric bits but move into sport mode for a bit more power when I put my foot down. The EV mode is a bit gimmicky to be honest the car does it anyway.
  11. I tested the Prius with the 'B' setting too. Today I have the paddle set to S4 and it seemed to work for about everything. I am starting to think it is a little bit of a gimmick.
  12. I do not see the option for mirror at all. I have the nav version. is it only on non nav?
  13. I don't use or like the engine simulation noise. I personally don't see the point. The car sound is fine, it's hybrid, it's different and it sounds different.
  14. I can't quite workout if I like the paddle control? does anyone understand how they work n reference to the CVT gearbox. The gear ratio seems to 'shift' up when I am in 1/2 automatically. Does anyone else use the paddles a lot?
