  1. Hi, I own a Lexus IS220d from 2009 and i'm not being able to play mp3 discs on it. The unit is not reading the disc. Do i have to burn the disc at a certain speed? Are they any models that don't play mp3disc? Also i read on the forum that some of you are able to play DVD's as well. I tried to put a dvd in the unit but nothing happen (tha car was not in the move - just parked). Thank you for your help. Re: I've managed to make it read mp3 cd' - I just used a diffrent software to burn the music - I used ashampoo burning studio. I cannot make it play dvd's pr audio dvd's. Could this be because my unit doesn't read DVD's? If it doesn't read can I still make it read audio dvd's as i read in one post here, using a certain software?
  2. What do you mean by "jetwashed" and where did you do that. It happen to me this weekend when i was away with my wife and kids and had to bring the car back to London on a platform. Car went into limp mode and couldn't drive it more than 2000rpm. I try to erase the code (torque and ELM adapater), but no success. The car came up with the error code after a couple of miles. Came home, cleaned the EGR valve(I already cleaned it again a couple of months ago and it was clogged - after that the car was driving very smooth and nice), this time it wasn't clogged but i thought that maybe some carbon stay inside there and didn't work properly. Anyway I've notice after that that my EGR is not working properly - not working into parameter (read it all the time with Torque) and it keeps kick in and out (it have periods when it's working and period when not). I kept erasing the error till i reached on the motorway and then i drive the car for about 40 min in the 3rd gear at 90mph. After that the error didn't came up again, but the tester still not reads the temperatures on the dpf sensor(before it used to read them) and the EGR valve is working in the same way. I ordered another one and after I'll fit it i will try to go again on the motorway in try a hard regen of the dfp and i will try with Techstream as well to see if it will regen. If not i think i have to find some others solution, others than replace it at lexus for 2500 pounds.

I read on a forum that if i want to understand those readings they need to be in conjunction with some Pxxx codes, but when i try to read the ECU fault codes it tells me that I have no errors stored in the ECU.   5. Hi VIDI, I tried the additive from Wynns and after i used it i started to have that white smoke most of the time when i was driving my car for short distances. After I refuel the car couple of times i notice that the smoke is gone and now i don't have it anymore. I don't know if it is from the additive or because now is worm outside , but i don't have it anymore. Hope is going to stay like this.

  7. The thing is that we don't know exactly which one is the pressure one. Do we need a high pressure air to blow or we can do it with a little compressor for tyres? P.S. English is not my native language to. So i might have a weird way of speaking :)

I think if the DPF filter is partial blocked(witch i think is our problem) we can give it a try with this cleaner(i've just order it), but if it's totally gone we can only replace it, and i don't think is going to be cheap. On the other hand i didn't heard till now about that pressure regulator. If someone can give us more information where is located(maybe a pic) and how we can clean it? The next step is to clean the egr valve. I'm just curios. What MPG are you getting driving in town. I can't get more than 26 now.
  11. I have the same problem with my car. When the engine is cold i have no problem, but when it reaches the optimal temp i find myseff covered in white smoke for a couple of seconds. This is happening when i drive in the city on short distances. From what i read on the forum i understood that might be the 5th injector that is trying to clean the dpf filter. I read somewhere in the forum that a few persons try a dpf cleaner and resolved the problem. I will try as well to see what's happening. If someone else can help with any other advice, that will be great. Thanks.
