  1. Cheers Mate. We can go halves on the ear plugs for the rest of the group at next month’s meet! Lol. 😂😂😂
  2. So at the last Kleers Summer Wednesday meet Jason decided to have a rev off. This was my first run, which set quite a high bar for the others! Lol. We narrowed it down to mine, a Ferrari 488 Italia, and an Audi R8 V10. I won! 😂 BC22162A-967B-4F07-82E4-BC31A1FAB704.mov
  3. Here’s a few of mine. Hopefully be some nice group shots next month! 😎
  4. Indeed. I'm guessing that was pre-supercharger as well, so fair bit of change since you saw it last! Fingers crossed you can make it fella.
  5. Cheers David. Hopefully you may get a chance to see it in person next month, be good to put some faces to names. Steering wheel is really nicely done. I've seen a few, but think these are the best ones by far in terms of finish, quality, construction. Elvin is also a great guy to deal with, loads of updates, and I was kept fully informed throughout the whole process. Highly recommend him as I know he does bits for the RC F as well. Hopefully see you and some other folks soon. Cheers, Pete
  6. You forget I have my missus with me, so my use of the loud pedal will be far more controlled than if I was flying solo! Lol. That and i'll be trying to stick with you guys, not much point in a convoy if I am flying off all the time! Just remember when I am not foot down my fuel economy is the same as it was pre-supercharger, but that hardly ever happens!
  7. Nice! 😎 Think we will make quite the duet next month on our run up North! Lol. 😂😂😂 Just need to try not to suck up too many small children, pets etc! I’m just pleased there may actually be a louder setup than mine! 🤣😂🤣😂
  8. Ok...... so what do you want me to do?! Remove mine, my headers and my supercharger!!! Lol. 😂😂 I say bring the noise! Lol. Also, room booked at the Premier Inn, so all set. Guessing it’s an early start if we are aiming to be at the dealer for around 9-10am? Say 6/6:30am to allow for traffic etc...... Looking forward to it though, should be a good laugh. 😎
  9. Morning Matey, Thanks, looking forward to it. Any idea what time you want to meet at Jct 18 of the M25? Is plan to then pick up others from M1, and further North, or just meet up when we all get there? Hopefully we have some Shell stations worked out along the way?! Know I’ll need it! Lol. 😂
  10. Morning Chaps, Just checked everything, and the missus and I are a go for both days. 😎 Has anyone got costs yet for the Saturday night? Just so we can budget everything. Look forward to meeting a few of you along the way, as gather we have a spot on M25 for us Kent/Essex owners plus others hopefully..... Can’t wait. Cheers all, Pete 😊
  11. Indeed Linas, sharing the dashboard with the other IS models certainly helped when I needed to source one for flocking. Also helped keep the price sensible for a change (not much is cheap for these cars!). I think the finish and uniformity of the weave on these is superior to others that dare I say it, cost more money but don’t look or feel as nice. Elvin also messaged me whenever needed with updates, tracking numbers etc, he was a pleasure to deal with. I’ll be grabbing some more bits off him for sure.
  12. Hi Linas, Funny you should mention that....... I'm actually looking to move the triple gauges to a pod that will be integrated properly with my spare dashboard. This will allow me to reinstate the centre air vents, and also improve the viewing angle so I can see the faces more easily. The whole thing will be getting flocked, so should look fine once it's all done. I do miss the icy air-con, especially with the hotter weather we've been having!
  13. Cheers Ollie. Yes, Elvin hooked me up. Have to say the finish and quality really do justify the price tag. Nice thing for some will also be the fact he provides the donor parts, so you can keep your OEM interior trim to refit or sell on to recoup some of the costs. I know a few CL members made back some pretty good coin on their silver carbon interior trim which practically paid for their dark carbon setups. I have my eye on a few other bits Elvin is now doing as well. He has the trims for either side of the centre console, and also the dash binnacle surround. The weave and finish are spot on. Best I have seen so far.
  14. Morning Chaps, Just thought I’d share a few photos of my new steering wheel, centre console, and inner door handles. The carbon paddles and steering wheel controls also work I think with making the overall result rather special. Will probably be sending the old wheel State side as buyers are few and far between over here sadly. Anyway, hope you like them. Cheers, Pete
  15. Not being cynical (well maybe), but I would imagine the fact you're Company buys around 35 cars a year from Lexus helped matters........ Can't see them giving £15K compensation to an individual customer personally.... Kudos to you though, clearly perseverance paid off.
  16. Few more arty shots thanks to my soon to be niece Kayleigh from Brands and Buckmore shows. 😎
  17. Sounds like it’s coming along nicely mate. Car is running really well. The warmer weather certainly helps with traction, but not outright power. It’s less of a handful in terms of keeping things in check, but still think I need to get the OS Giken LSD and wider wheels/tires.
  18. Hey, no real way to know until we try really! I know Lee P at SRD has spent some time looking at our gearbox setup because he wants to use it on the Supra instead of the 7-Spd BMW offering. He was really impressed with the build quality, and reckoned it would handle way more than what it does from the factory. I’m inclined to agree. Toyota/Lexus tend to over engineer and dial back, so parts can often take twice the power they run. Best ever example being the 2JZ-GTE engine in the MK4 Supra. Stock internalled examples have been running 800hp+ with no issues! That’s almost three times the rating it supposedly had when it left the factory. I think once you start trying to run more than twice the factory output, you have to factor in the odd teething issue with drivetrain issues etc.
  19. You could always try the Mini tape route as seen on most IS F’s? I’m looking to actually get mine stripped back and painted for a more permanent/cleaner look. Did buy the tape, but it’s fiddly as hell, especially around the curved sections where it’s wider. 100% believe it would look better without the chrome. 😎
  20. Saw this. I’m inclined to agree it needs more work on suspension, wheels and tires to maximise the added horsepower. As I mentioned before, I can lose traction at both ends of each gear when pushing hard! Hopefully the OS Giken LSD, wider wheels (should be able to run 305/30/19’s at the rear, with 265/35/19’s out front), and a stiffer suspension setup will help tame the beast! Rome wasn’t built in a day (they needed Big Rat! Lol), but seeing a Lexus going toe to toe with some serious track cars gives me tingles! The fact there is a larger supercharger on the cards from Rotrex that will support up to 900hp, need to get the handling right. I know one chap in the States has gone full custom suspension setup from Ohlins. May have to follow his lead and do something similar.
  21. Thanks Russell. It's a new phone my niece to be only just got, so seems to cope better than the usual iPhone mic that was rubbish! Still doesn't reflect the true sound of the car in my opinion, but it's probably one of the best video's I've heard so far...
