  1. I put up with the sometimes slow responses and occasional crash but yesterday the Bluetooth pairing started to really play up refusing to pair with both of my phones (personal and work) and despite deleting re-pairing and so on it didn't improve. So on my way home (four hours on our glorious motorways with a pile of voicemail piling up on my works phone) I stopped off at my local dealer (Lexus Chester) who booked it in for an update this morning. Afterwards they advised that it was a really new release that they had used. So far I've only tried with one phone, but vastly improved on yesterday. Also the system itself seems a bit more fluid, pressing the menu/home buttons calls up the relevant screens a lot faster than before. I guess only time will tell. Oh one other bug I found which I guess could be in the Satnav data, is that yesterday it advised me to take the 6th exit on a roundabout which only had 3 exits, it wanted me to do an addtional lap of it for some reason. I know that the F Sport handling is fun but when the Satnav wants an extra lap.....
  2. After finally sussing out what the intermittent beeping was (traffic camera alert) I had to find something new to occupy my driving time thinking about what it may be within my IS300h F Sport, so I have spent a little time trying to puzzle what this item is for and eventually even resorting to a quick look in the manual without finding an answer, any ideas anyone? Thanks Russ
  3. Tough question, IS300 came with a pile of suspension mods so it comes close handling wise, the G450h was a stunning in mid range, the IS250 was a stopgap as my GS450h was 4 years old and the new model GS was due the following year then a year later the new IS, didn't really get on with the IS250 as I'd got spoilt by the GS. IS200's had a fantastic gearbox and engine noise when you ragged them, could have done with 20-50bhp more, hence the IS300 later on. So bloody glad to go back to a CVT/Hybrid again, would still like the GS450h power in the IS300h body thou, but I think they have all got pluses and minuses, even the IS300h isn't perfect, but it's getting closer.
  4. I bought my IS300h F Sport (Sonic Titanium) in August and second day I had it, parked up in the local Morrisons only to come out to find an IS300h Premier parked next to it. Apart from that seen a grand total of two, an Ultra Blue on the M6 Toll and a White on the M5.
  5. Long time lurker here that's finally decided to register so hello to all! Over the years I've had 2 x IS200, 1 x IS300, 1 x RX300, 1 x GS450h, 1 x IS250 and now on an IS300h F Sport so I guess that makes me a confirmed Lexus owner. Russ
