Both fans are going.and err I do know better cool than hot. ive had the car 4yrs now. ive never had the fans come on so much. even on motorways. I just thought it could be a fault.

My temperature gauge is bang on the half way or just below. But the radiator fans are coming on the odd time. the cars running fine and no over heating. anyone have the same prob or any idea. ooops the car is a 07 is220d

I use a 220d to tow my lunar caravan and its very good. rear wheel drive good traction to.

ive had the same problem and still got it. I think the problem is with the age of the car and your phone. ive tried android and iPhone with no joy. the way I get around it is ive put my 20 popular phone numbers on speed dial. there numbers come up when they ring.

Can anybody tell me a easy way of changing the fuel filter on my 220d. just had a look at it on the ramp and looks a nightmare to get at. thinking about taking the house off all together but the bolts don't feel to good. so soaked them in releasing oil before I have a go at them. Cheers Graeme

I had the same prob. The rear window got replaced under warranty. Could of been expensive.

Mine went in for a couple of other jobs and I mentioned the mpg was rubbish 26mpg. When I got it back he said they reset the ecu. I think you just disconnect the battery for a day or so but dont quote me on that. The thing is people come on here trying to get better mpg but the 220d is just not very good on diesel.

Hi put my 220d back into lexus under warranty. They reset the ecu. Now its a lot better 34mpg round town. Redex wouldnt do it any harm. I think wynns do a aditive as well any one of those I would try. If its really bad like mine try resetting the ecu.

I bought my 220d 07 December last year and reading all these threads I'm thinking OMG wot have I bought. But then again I'm thinking every motor have there faults.

scott sounds like your driving my 220. im having exactly the same prob though im only getting 26avg round town. i only bought it december so its going back into lexus on wedensday. for all i love the car performance i thought could be a bit better. maybe i should of went for a petrol.

aaah that does make sense bullhead thanx for that. am i right that you can only make a phone call on the move using voice command. the key pad locks off on mine as soon as i move.
