hi guys someone told me about this so I looked it up in the internet, they say that you can clean the egr and other parts of the engine buy using an oven foam cleaner and that it has a chemical in it that completely dissolves the carbon. any body heard of this or let me know which oven cleaner to use and how to do it on my lexus is220 d, any help would be welcome. Same cracking sound in my lexus my m8 says I could be that the dash could be expanding due to the heat. Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

had my lexus is220d se-l for just over 2 weeks now, but my only problem is the key fob, it takes ages to lock/unlock the car, I went back to the garage where I bought the car and they said they changed the battery but I don't believe they did as I keep getting low key battery and key not detected on the dash. Is it worth going to lexus itself and explaining the problem to them and get them to put a new battery in or would I need a new fob all together and if so what would the cost be. I reached 45.1mpg in my lexus is220d se-l on a B road going to work which I was happy with from transferring from a Leon fr which the most I got was 33mpg, but my friend at work who also owns a lexus had a little drive if my car said its a perfect drive but might need the egr looked at, other than that happy days. Hi guys, new to lexus made a change from Leon fr to a lexus. Recently purchased a lexus is220d se-l and was wondering if there are any common faults I should know about any feed back would be gratefull
