  1. Don’t understand the delay with locking wheel nuts. Plenty in eBay or in stock at Lexus Parts Direct https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-chrome-wheel-lock-nut-set/ A proactive dealer could source some and fit themselves Enjoy the car, great colour choice
  2. Yep, Sahara sand. Everyone's car got done (apart from the wife's which was in the garage). Will help fill in the cracks between the bricks on my drive. Orange sunrise this morning through the cloud.
  3. Mine was poorly this morning and developed a nasty rash Had to wash it at lunchtime Looks better now.
  4. Its not good practice to leave it in accessory mode to listen to the radio. You run the risk of not being able to start the car if the 12V battery goes flat and can't boot up the computers. You can put it in EV mode if you don't want the engine to start (sometimes).
  5. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186047860747?hash=item2b5151100b:g:MRUAAOSwav9k5vMU&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4Mg4eWBhTUY%2BBcUgM%2FkCzbrISJQqE4ve82nC9RrNUtDmpSJL9EJXcWNzMTsOtKM7arKmWj6b5mAsloagssp4D7rsMONitvRhOoLURQz7e6fz2sy4Ps%2FuxZxow2w8u7FRZLK4g%2BWWPwnGTDwrmmc50qNbo2%2FYSxvj1d8qt8kTOiUawd2IHwjUdF9KtC1ftTY2b8dDqyKXs9%2Fl0sMRsIQF%2BFEq6VfJ7czx5R3t2jsuKKh8PMhuDrbSnpe0rqKIhKJETEtqLoyQ2dtNMvvp6MZrZTqTilACMW31J3IL9%2FgW8A0v|tkp%3ABk9SR4SM4tvGYg Not cheap though.
  6. Just noticed there is a new version of the Can Viewer app - V 2023.2 released 8th Aug 23. Is this any more stable?
  7. Just noticed mine is LexusLink not the + version. What's the difference
  8. What app version are you using? (Apple or Android?) My iOS app is currently version is 4.18.1 (512) - Seems to do what I expect in a clunky way. But all I expect it so see charge status and range/battery %
  9. Thank you for coming on here to ask before you potentially make a purchase you may regret. Feel free to ask any questions, no mater how stupid they seem. We will try our best to help.
  10. Just had a play with mine. I could not see any blue LED light up, but by taking it off the mount I can see a battery in so I have enabled Parking Mode. Hope it doesn't drain the car battery. To view Dashcam videos I turn the car on to power the DashCam. Press the blue Triangle button for > 3 secs. Open settings on my iPhone and search for Wi-Fi. Connect to the Nextbase Wi-Fi. Then open the Cam Viewer app and connect to the camera. I can then adjust settings, view videos etc. I haven't tried to download any and it does drop out occasionally. But can't see when I would need to download stuff unless there was an incident. Red LED on or flashing. Yellow LED flashing then on. All LEDs go off when car is turned off. I presume that means it is on a switched feed. (It was installed by Lexus and came with the car. Not something I specified). I presume you can't take yours off the mount as you have the security screws attached.
  11. Hi Roger I have the same set up but not sure if I have the battery installed. It was on the car when I bought it. The Wi-Fi does seem difficult. It does not always connect first time on my iPhone and you always have to manually connect by pressing the blue button for a few seconds then go to Wi-Fi on your phone to connect. A strange set up. But why do you need to connect to the Wi-Fi? I just leave mine alone. Unless you want to download a clip because something has happened there is no reason to connect. I thought you could remove the sd card without taking the camera off but I haven’t tried. I presume you have the manual but here it is for reference NBDVR380GWXRCB - Instruction Manual (English R12).pdf
  12. To clarify, yes I did expect it to slow down at the roundabout as there was a lorry in front and that had stopped. 🙃 But out of an abundance of caution and not wanting to hit the lorry I braked. 🚛🚙 B mode - Well I use it most of the time as it’s a EV and taking you foot off the accelerator in B mode slows you down and recharges the battery. In this way you don’t always need to brake at a clear roundabout or junction. Disadvantage is the brake lights don’t come on to tell others behind you are braking so you have to be mindful of that.
  13. It was on the longest setting. I like to brake smooth and early.🙃
  14. I have been playing with the Radar Cruise Control and managed to get it to work. It does not work if you are in B mode. (EV only) If you are using Cruise Control and you select B mode it drops out of Cruise Control without any warning and if you are already in B mode it does not enable the speed setting so Cruise Control does not activate. Again with no warning. I tried to let it brake for me at a roundabout, but I chickened out and applied the brakes before it did. At least I know how to use it now if I ever get on a nice quiet motorway.
  15. That's how I expected it to work, but not tested it on the motorway yet. Would it work on A roads around town or is it a motorway only thing? When I set the speed I doesn't seem to work.
  16. How do you use the Radar Cruise Control? I have had a play after reading the manual. P288 onwards When I press the Cruise Control main switch, I get the green light and Radar Ready. But when I press the -Set button nothing happens. I don’t get a set speed displayed, and the cruise control is not active. I should mention that I have only tried it on single carriage way A roads with traffic, at speeds of up to 50 mph. (Not a situation I would use it. But just experimenting) Does it only work when on a dual carriage way/motorway when it can detect lane markings? Thanks Paul
  17. Navigation Manual https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/manuals Navi PZ471-76323-EN.pdf
  18. Microphone for telephone kit perhaps? See Navigation Manual P12 and P162
  19. That sounds a lot https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/servicing-mot-hybrid-health-check £285 for Intermediate and £505 for full and say £50 for MOT 2 full £1010 1 Int £285 3 MOT £150 = £1445 I was quoted (and accepted) £844 for two major and one Int and one MOT on a UX300e which has cheaper servicing but this fits the figures from Lexus web site link above. The benefit to the customer of a service plan is spreading the costs and fixing the costs over the time period. The benefits to the garage are they get your custom for servicing. Any extras (Tyres/Wipers etc) are charged extra as and when needed. The down side is if you don't expect to keep the car for the duration or it gets written off you could loose out. This was any Lexus dealer not just one named.
  20. What a waste of space. If they got rid of the inlay for tools not supplied then there would be much more room. Maybe even for a spare wheel.
  21. Thanks for clarifying. I think what has happened to mine then is that the originals are still on the back (not run flat) and they have put new tyres on the front as and when they have worn out or got a puncture and replaced with Run Flats not realising the UX330e is different from the UX250h. I will revert back to non run flat when the fronts wear out. Which will be a relief as I was not looking forward to having run flats and having to replace them at each nail pick up.
  22. I have just picked up a 22 plate UX300e. It has 13000 miles on. The rear tyres are Michelin Primacy 3 225/50/r18 (not run flat) and seem to be the original tyres. I have not measured the tread depth but they seem okay. The fronts look as though they have been replaced as they are Michelin Primacy 3 225/50/r18 ZP. Which I believe are run flats. I have the tyre goo in the boot, but no jack. What were the original tyres from the factory, normal or run flat? The manual does not specify that run flat must be fitted. Thanks Paul
  23. It’s dropped down to 3.7 now. I have a spreadsheet to calculate my battery drain per mile. On my first journey of 19 miles I used 15% of battery or 1.27 miles per %. AirCon wipers on etc. A bit OCD I know but I kept a log of all my mpg and I thought I would monitor the battery and range to try and get an accurate predicted range. The spreadsheet can also be used to calculate charge efficiency. E.g. Battery charge % gain per hour. Attached is a copy of my spreadsheet if anyone want to use it. Put your values in the green cells. Copy the calculations in the red. The charge calculation rate only has test data in at the moment. Paul UX Charge Calculator.xlsx
  24. Interesting point about the tires. I have only had it a few weeks as it was used but has 13000 (exactly) miles on it. They look good but I suspect the fronts have been changed by the garage (although no entry on the maintenance log). The front have ZP after the tyre description Michelin Primacy 3 ZP, whereas the rears don't. I believe they only last 10k miles or so.
