It’s in the Navigation manual, not that there is much to adjust. A three band graphic equaliser (Treble Mid Base) and fader/balance. p129 of the manual.

How fast had you been driving it, could be a relativity thing?

I’ve just noticed, switches that go up and down have two lines on the edge, switches that just go down have one. Attention to detail or what?

Shocking depreciation. A £57k car worth £21k after 2 years.
Just shows how poor the market for EVs is at present.
Makes you wonder if you are better handing the car back at the end of the PCP if the GFV is more than the car is worth trade in.

Ok, ok I'm a cheap skate, does anyone know how to update maps for free via USB or something?
So you think the engineers working for Lexus to produce these updates don’t need food on their table or a roof over their head.

You are quite correct in being cautions.
However I got some emails from ITC Compliance when enquiring about a car at Lexus Preston.
Cant remember if I set up an account.
Give the dealer a call if you enquired about a car.

My wife looked into using the charger at her work and it wanted you to use an app and pre load credit to it. Is this normal?
-
I’ve only ever charged at home or work. Haven’t plucked up the courage to try charging on the go yet. Which limits the places we can go as the places we go generally don’t have chargers at the destination. E.g. National Trust properties.
However if you have the plug in hybrid shouldn’t be a problem. -
General Chat section is Lexus Owner Club Lounge.
Sorry, Not sure about your heating question.

In Lexus defence, when they are writing software for the cars they are in control of ecosystem. When it comes to phone apps there are many different types of phone, operating system, versions, drivers etc. They can’t test every combination as they are not in control of all hardware and software needed to make it work.
(but to test one would be a start).

The link in the APP takes you to the Toyota app. Don't click on this.
Go back to the app store and reinstall from there.

Same as above, (iPhone) Went to AppStore and upgraded the Lexus Link + app and now back to normal. (I can see Battery % charge for the EV - which s the only useful feature of the app)

You can set the number of presets. Audio - Setup - Radio - Number of Radio Presets

Have you tried it to see if it works?
- With the car locked and the key in your trouser pocket.
- Walk up to the rear of the car, kick your leg under the middle of the rear bumper for half a second and withdraw your leg, but don't kick
- Step back (this is important).
- Say "Open Sesame"
- If so equipped then the car should beep and open the tailgate.
- (Saying Open Sesame is optional)
Mine has it but is a pre facelift model.

Apparently the electric 300e doesn’t have it.
But this may help those that do

You are assuming you get more than one key🙃
My 22 reg Takumi does not have memory seats. Which is fine as I don’t let the wife drive it.

It’s EU law and I can see if you put a “Safety Feature” in then it should be enabled by default. It also gives the car manufacturers some experience in autonomous driving technology.
Hopefully you will get used to it and it won’t be needed. However when I did my IAM test I was told not to indicate to pull out if no one will benefit. Which may cause the system to complain.
However I always remember to brake before hitting the back of the car in front. Only very occasionally does the car think it has to remind me to brake and then I have started to move my foot anyway.

I think it was just the rich cream that came with a lighter headlining. However you don't notice the black headlining, its the seat colour that is important.
If you are after a used car, check pictures and ask.

A 10 minute recharge for a decent sized battery would need a 500kW charger so not a home job!
Exactly, you still have to put the same number of electrons in the Battery. The quicker you do it the more have to go down the cable at once, hence a higher current. Which will be too much for domestic use and will require specialist equipment.

Not often that I defend @ganzoom but there is a lot of hatred towards EVs on this forum of late.
I get it, some people like the sound of a V8, some need to drive 300 miles in one go and can’t charge at home, and some people find the ease of driving an EV and not having to fill up with fuel an advantage. It’s great we are all different. 🙃
