In February 2013 my 2007 RX400h suffered wholesale electrical failure and the fault was attributed to a blocked rainwater drain in the sunroof aperture. The repair was very expensive and the passenger A pillar remains stained inside.
I booked the car in for the inverter recall and a routine service last week. Again, however, there was a wholesale electrical failure (“Check VSC/Check Hybrid” and the oil warning light). This time I am told the hybrid batteries have failed and require replacement. I am sceptical.
Does anyone know a good independent expert who can inspect the car for me?
Thanks
