  1. Picked up alloys tonight for a good price, however they have different tyres. Would have preferred them the same but couldn't complain for the price. Two are 205/40/17 and the other two are 215/45/17. Will this make any difference?
  2. Is the suspension on the IS200 Sport lower than the IS200 Sportcross?
  3. Do you have a link to your facebook group?
  4. Yeah mine had a decent spec but had half leather and didn't have the msg computer. The ST200 had these though.
  5. Thanks for the information on this thread. I was slightly worried at the start, at the thought of not having a master key. However according to replies on here and the owners manual the Sportcross only had 2 button master keys. The key I currently have locks/unlocks the glove box and the light automatically goes out when I insert into the ignition aswell. On reference to the boot, there is no key lock. Went to my local key cutting place they can duplicate the key for £60 but it's a basic key without any buttons so I think I'm better going to Lexus and paying £200 to get another master key.
  6. Only had the Lexus a month so far and owned the Mondeo for three years but I much prefer the Lexus. Better quality and more toys. I owned a MK2 Mondeo ST24 2.5 V6 saloon. The saloon is a bit rarer than the hatchback. Great car though I loved it, nice big comfy cruiser and not much went wrong with it. The engine sounds great in the Lexus whereas the Mondeo didn't sound as exciting until higher revs. Mondeo's rust though and are front wheel drive.
  7. Phoned Lexus but they weren't sure. On reference to the link below, post 7 and 8. Sportcross only has 2 button keys instead of 3, can anyone confirm? http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/79085-bought-a-lexus-with-one-2-button-key-advise-please/
  8. Read a topic on this forum from 2012. The Sportcross only had 2 button keys anyway. It was only the saloon version that had the 3 button keys due to the different boot. Can anybody confirm this?
  9. Read on the link below. If you insert the key into the ignition and the security light goes out immediately. Then the key is programmed as a master key? http://my.is/forums/f93/bought-2004-is300-only-got-valet-key-need-help-488418/
  10. How does this work though? http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/tutorials/article/138-2-button-keys-are-actually-3who-knew/
  11. I have a valet key currently. I want a master key. Is this possible without going to lexus?
  12. So basically I am asking for a 3 button key to be made from scratch? Can places to do this other than Lexus? I will go into the shop in the morning, was closed when I walked past. I can live without the glove box/boot etc, it's just the part about spares that may need re-programmed.
  13. I originally googled it before I came on the forum. However I had a Mondeo V6 previously and now I have straight six just wanted to know the differences. It does appear to be smoother though.
