The car looks great on Eibach. Not too low, just as it should be. Have you compared the spring rates maybe?

According to info from IS200 repair manual, the snow button not only affects throttle response curve and throttle butterfly angle but also has something to do with brakes via breaking actuators and thus prevents excessive wheel spin. So it's much more then a throttle control. Personally, I like snow with everything off and good winter tires on. Only me and LSD :)

For brand new part it is OK to take it directly to garage but since you are going to use a second hand part, I would suggest you to test it first, and then open it and check for the gaps and put some dielectric (non conductive) grease on sliders and movable parts. If you have no time for that, ask them to do so before they fit it.

I'm not sure for 220 model. I have is200 (LHD, 2004) and air mixture actuator was easily accessible, just near the glow box. Took me about 30 minutes to complete the job. I would advise you to remove the glow box first and then look inside and try to figure out which actuator is making noise when adjusting temperature. I remember that some of actuators were behind the vent ducts so you will probably have to remove some of them. And for refit, it will be in position you have adjusted it via temperature knob as soon as you put connector back on. Just take your time and be patient.

Bought mine for £185 shipped. Just look for is200 sport model, there are many breaking is200 all over the ebay.

If you trust the seller then ask for the firewall code (also can be found on door cross member), it should be something like A02B, A01B or A03B for LSD equipped vehicle (letter "B" is for LSD). If it's A02A, A01A or A03A then it's open diff. If you don't trust the seller then ask him to open the diff back cover and send you pictures to be 100% sure.

Oh, I forgot to say, I put standard AISIN KT-259D clutch kit. Found it for just 147€ http://www.daparto.de/Artikeldetails/cab407c7e5bdea33f130ba1769d6b2d5724905b7 . For now I'm very satisfied, nice, quiet and grippy clutch :)

It has DMF, 100% confirmed. I was lucky that is still in good condition so they just replaced the clutch. If I would have to change the FW, I will definitely buy an aftermarket solid FW. I don't know why they put the DMF at first place. There is no logical reason for putting it in low torque, hi-revving engine like 1GFE.
