    I've been advised by Stena Line that I must turn off the car alarm on my RX450 while crossing - in order to avoid it going off due to heavy seas. Anybody advise me how to do that please?

    Thanks everybody - most helpful! i have the boot-liner and ivory carpet mats already fitted - so will be pursuing some rubber mats for the cabin, I think! 😎

    Have just taken delivery of my 2012 RX450 Premier - low mileage and lovey throughout. However, i guess the Ivory interior will soon look the worse fro wear, so am thinking about black rubber or carpet floor mats to protect the interior. Do Lexus make a range or better from elsewhere...? Thanks! Paddy

    Hi Folks- just about to purchase a low mileage 2012 RX450 Premier and wondering if i should consider having a tracker fitted. Lots of different types around - which is a bit confusing - so wondered if anybody has personal experience/ recommendations etc. please. Many thanks!

    Thinking of changing my 10 year old RX400. Reluctantly, because it has never let me down in the five years I've owned it, and it's a lovely drive, of course. So would like another hybrid and am thinking of a 4 or 5 year old RX450 or maybe an NX. Also, the new RAV4 Hybrid looks tempting. Any thoughts, comments or advice most welcome!

    So....the ignition key for my 2008 RX450h has cracked. it still works ok, but you have to take careful hold of it once inserted in the ignition; it feels like it might snap or something when it's turned. Otherwise, it works fine. Question is...is it possible just to have a new plastic case thingy or will Lexus want to sell me a brand new key? And what might that cost from a main dealer, I wonder? Any advice gratefully received :-)

    Hi Folks Although the drivers' own window switch works perfectly, all of the other window switches have just packed up. Neither the drivers' switch for the other windows ,nor each individual window switch works - only the drivers' window and switch are operating. Any ideas on how to maybe re-set? Many thanks! :-)

    Thanks for the comments Folks! Nobody I've contacted seems to have any of these tyres - so I'm now looking for alternatives that would sit well with the Latitudes I've just put on the front . Suggestions gratefully received! :-) Cheers

    So...even Lexus can't get me another cúpla Latitudes - apparently Michelin haven't got any either! Is anybody able to suggest alternatives that would sit well with the two new ones I've already put on te front please? Ta! Dáithí

    Hi - have just added 2 Michelin Latitude HP 235/55 tyres to my 400H but none of my local dealers an supply any more (I need a further two). Apparently they are on "back order" - which I guess means there's a shortage! Anybody recommend a local tyre firm (Lincolnshire) who might have please? Cheers Paddy

    I live in the country and commute 20 miles each way across winding roads and a bit of dual carriageway, followed by a crawl into town for the last 3 miles or so. Average 33mpg (2008 RX400h) Paddy

    Thanks for the info, folks - I'll get in touch with my dealer. The car has full dealer service history, from two Listers branches and the first one in central London. (It was originally owned by some geezer called Sir D. Walker, so shouldn't be too hard to track down I hope!) Many thanks again!

    Oh dear...! Just had my RX400H serviced and i couldn't find the service book to be stamped. Have got the invoice etc, and details of other work done since I bought the car last year, but still can't locate the service log at all. Anything I can do - apart from keep looking? Will the dealers have any records at all? Will I suffer when I eventually sell the car on? Sheesh! :-( Paddy

    Not sure if this adds anything to the discussion, but I bought my first Lexus RX 400H last March. Typical journeys are a 20 mile commute each way through Lincolnshire's windy roads, plus the occasional traffic jam and motorway jaunt. Never been below 33.3 mpg since I got it and during the warmer weather was 33.6. Just sayin' ! ;-)
