  1. My baby needs a new set of tyres, and I'd like to get them at as much of a deal as possible... Where do you get your tyres? I figure if we all share where we get our tyres, we can check the places everyone shares and find the cheapest prices in the end. The last time I got tyres it was from National Tyres, which is mainly because they almost always have some kind of deal going on. I think there are like 3 different sales going on right now, or something. Feel free to share where you normally shop and hopefully we all can get some great deals out of it.
  2. Has anybody used or had any experience with the Lexus Linked In page? I know a lot of people who have linkedin accounts, myself included, but I don't know anybody who would say it's done them any good (myself included once more). I already bought a car, I'm not sure if I need to hook up with Lexus as a business entity. Or is there something I'm missing here?
  3. Paintballing REALLY HURTS the next day -- not so much from the paintballs, which do hurt a lot, but the muscle strain. I mean, you're spending the day crouching down barriers, up and down on muscles you rarely use. Karting sounds cool -- I suppose shooting paintballs at passing gokarts could be fun, but it hardly feels like the Lexus thing to do. A nice picnic party is awlays great, with a few bands, lots of food, get somebody to run races and games for the kids. There's a great company called Charm & Happy, which has performers in every U.S. state -- you won't regret it.
  4. I won't be there, which is too bad. These fests are great -- awesome meet-ups, beautiful cars and bikes, great food and fun, bands, families, women, c'mon, what more would you want? Those are basically the things I got my Lexus for in the first place. I do wish they'd change the name of it though. Japfest? Um ... no, not in this day and age.
  5. I've heard other horror stories about BT too -- incompetence, lots of upselling. Guess it's best to go directly to a trusted computer repair person, or find one if you haven't got one. As for these Nigerian prince scams, they come in a lot of forms and they manage to swindle a lot of people out of a ton of money. Not so funny, really, especially when BT is doing it or something like it.
