Hi Dan, The overall look and drive of the car is great - the plasi-wood is a mod I knew I could update / convert, so it wasn't a game changer. The car I bought was a great buy, low miles, full LSH and pretty much all the toys. A very well looked after and maintained motor. So I wasn't going to let it out me off - also, I didn't want to spend more on the RX400h yet.

Mines the 2011-2012 so it must then - now where's that override button on gen01.. Hmmmm??

All done! :0) Quite easy actually - I even had a go doing the black part with the heated seats/lighter controls. Very pleased - better than that God awful plasti-wood

Saying that - the one thing I wanted to do is the sat nab over-ride, which I couldn't find... Is this the right screen or is there something else?

Any change you can put a "how to" for the door wood trims and the centre sliding console part?! Pleeeeez". :0)

Thanks Colin, Tried that and it doesn't work. However, I did find out how to do it - keep INFO button pressed and turn lights switch from off to side light x3 and it just pops up on the screen! Had a look on the menu and nothing here to mess about with (nothing I would feel confident changing anyway!)

Right! I'm stuck, I got these two bits off.... But I can't get the door wood trim off and the other two wood trim from the sliding centre console!. Help please....

If anyone needs the info - the cable is a SOT-933. They are amplified and the amp is behind the rear seat on the drivers side. You'll also need an extension cable.

Been to Halfords today to have an ioPlay2 fitted. They ordered the wrong SOT cable (was for an amplified system) does anyone know which SOT they should order? He's saying the will order a Citroen one as it looks like it would work??!! I don't have the Levinson amp, so is my car not amplified? If joy, which SOT cable is it? I don't trust them to order the right one, any help highly appreciated - what a waste of 1 hour on a weekend!!

True, but same could be said with any external modifications, like wheels or even the colour of the car for eg.Besides, it's a more modern look than the normal lights on 300.

Thanks all, Bit gutted today, after I inserted he 'new' disc that doesn't work on my system, then put mine back in, I've noticed that I can no longer add destinations while on the move, like I did before. I've read about the lockout but I can't access the menu to do it - what's the process for a Gen01 system?

Looks rather fetching without the roof rails - still, I like the practicality of having them :0)
