  1. Will keep an eye out since there are not many CT200h around here. I’m over South Shields Way but always on the A19 and A1
  2. Just make sure you wash the car properly then apply it watch the car turn purple and wash off! Don’t let it dry on the car, it’s also good on your wheels too as I have used it on mine. where are you roughly in Tyne and Wear?
  3. Welcome and enjoy the car I love mine and happy to move from a Lexus IS220d. what’s the tax on yours as mine has just gone up to £155! Still cheaper than the IS.
  4. Which dealer was this one as I know you have mentioned both in the North East and think the next closest on is Carlisle?
  5. Here is the info https://catloc.co.uk/product/lexus-ct200h/
  6. Lexus Teeside chargers me £250 was in for an hour
  7. Have you tried putting it in auto trader that should give you a rough price
  8. The best thing Tesla have done is how they created there charging network so Tesla drivers don’t have any worries about running out of electric while also maintaining them. As for there cars like it’s been said build quality is poor and other areas are just gimmicky.
  9. I’m also hoping they do a CT or IS replacement. I love the Lexus spindle grill makes the car look aggressive if you have the right spec like the F sport. Sets them apart from looking dull but that’s just my thoughts. hope the pricing isn’t that expensive and hopefully as battery technology becomes more mature the pricing can come down a bit.
  10. I will be waiting a couple of years only had my CT less than a year and have 3 years to go so will see if Lexus contact me close to end of my agreement with an offer.
  11. Will be interesting to see when the Lexus sales men call up all the people on PCP deals to switch over if there will be any good deals! I would be tempted to change to one of the figures work well in my favour.
  12. Had a CATLOC fitted by Lexus for piece of mind
  13. I know I need to get out more on it and enjoy the CT. Just the last two years with working from home I have got use to just looking at it than driving 😂 have some weekends planned away so will enjoy it then.
  14. You should have a usb port to plug a cable or it’s done via Bluetooth so you may need to pair your phone with the car. Best is to check the manual that came with the car
  15. Try playing it via a call in the settings that is what I have to do for waze to play through the speakers
  16. Hi all, has anyone used ceramic snow foam? Tired it at the weekend and seem to give the car a good beading affect and was simple just spray in and off then dry seem to give the car a nice shine too. Product I was using was auto finesse lavish https://www.autofinesse.com/en/lavish-1-litre
  17. If you value your car and want to keep it right you service it regardless. As mine has super low miles is a yearly basis but since it turned 3 years last Friday just made sense to do both service and MOT at the same time. It was when they said 30k service you not done even 12k in 3 years i felt bad as the car should be used more but with working from home more it sits out the front 5-6 days of the week.
  18. Think I will take a look at the Lexus assistance. Decided to do the MOT and service the same time so I have just one trip to the dealers a year fingers crossed.
  19. Same had mine done last Friday and had its 3 year service and it was no problem at all. Mine has only covered 12k in the 3 years. Wonder if ours were built near each other as mine was registered 12th March. Cost of service and MOT was £289 from Lexus Teeside
  20. Hi Las, Could it be the end of Lexus??? Really they are just gong to stop the brand????? Lexus build quality seems to be the same for me if not better every time I bought another Lexus as I have had a 2000 IS200, 2008 IS220D and now a 2019 CT200h have had no major problems even with the IS220d that is so problematic was fine just an air condition pump was the biggest expense for that car. All 3 of them have been and are serviced by main dealer (Lexus Teesside) and the customer service from them has always been excellent and can never complain. I understand there will be a small percentage that may have faults or some quality issues but over all with the millions of cars they produce. Why complain about the service cost when you know Lexus is a premium brand over Toyota? If you can afford a Lexus you should be able to afford the running cost and servicing that's how I look at it IMO but each to there own.
  21. Welcome to the forum, you will not be disappointed with your purchase. look forward to some pics
  22. Hi, Mine is booked In this Friday for service and first MOT. Car has less than 12k and it’s in for the 3 year or 30k service and with the MOT they have quoted me £289 from Lexus Teeside. will update Friday when it get the car back on actual cost.
  23. Had my CT now for 9 months and loving it and will keep it till somethings else from lexus tempts me.
  24. Sounds about right and you won’t get it into 6th gear until 75mph. The gearing is not the best. I had a 2008 with the multimedia pack and was great had it for 7 years and changed it last June after it had done 138k. No head gasket issues and was serviced every 10k actually miss the air cooled seats
