  1. Just got mine today as one of my bday presents and agree it’s well packaged and the weight is not bad either. Have not used it yet but plugged it in and turned it on and was really surprised how strong it was on setting one! Tried setting 2 and think that will be able the one to dry the car fully. when I do use it I will provide an update. cheers Kish for your review
  2. In the Toyota I believe it was set up better as you could get an avensis into 6th at 35-40 mph. Compared to the 220d. Guess that’s why they did the change on the later Diesel engines and de tuned them. I was one of those lucky Lexus owners with an IS220d that didn’t have engine issues it was just bad on MPG for a diesel
  3. I would say just stay clear of a diesel Lexus if I’m honest. I had a 220d and it was a good car but the MPG and 6th gear was not good. If I was to do it again I would of got a is250 or a first gen is200 again.
  4. Apologies @ColinBarber noted for next time.
  5. You were indeed! Last night I could not see the little with a torch 😂😂😂😂
  6. All sorted was a bloody flying ant! Seen it pop out from the dash vents for the windscreen!
  7. Have disabled the interior sensor, could be a tiny bug not that I could see when flashing a torch around.
  8. Hi all, I have had my CT now for two months and tonight the alarm has gone off twice for no reason. Checked my security camera and no cars or people have gone past to set the alarm off. Car has been parked up since 15:00 today and the alarm has gone off at 20:32 and 22:03 (time checked on camera) weather is fine no strong wind or rain, I’m not near anything that involves strong vibrations. has anyone experienced there alarm going off randomly? Just puzzled why this has happened. regards Joel
  9. I know can’t believe they change 2017 would be happy to have no tax to pay. Still can’t complain saving £100 from my IS220D SE
  10. Tax on my is220d SE was £240 a year so cheaper than the sport. However now I have a CT F sport I’m loving the £145 tax amount
  11. I believe so however I think the gearing is better suited to it as I drove my brother in laws and his was a 2.2d on the same year and it had no problem getting into 6th gear
  12. Hi all, I had an 08 plate is220d for 7 years and traded it couple months back. It had 137k on the clock when I finished with it. I was lucky it seems as the only issue I had was that the air con compressor went on it. I did use terraclean once and the rest was just service and tires. i always used shell v power in it. agree with the turbo lag and 6th gear being useless but over all was a good car to me.
  13. Think you have just convinced me to in vest in one, will be nice to get all the water out from the mirrors and lights etc
  14. For me it was £5 and would last me a good few nights cruising around the local boy racer hot spots and to work. That was only early 2000 for me in a saxo VTS….😂😂😂
  15. I’m sure people have seen this already just thought it was interesting
  16. Wow never seen that ever! Lowest was 69.9 I think and that was around 1999
  17. Cheers for the info I will give that a go then. When did you notice a difference? My car has only got just shy of 9k so I should hope it’s fairly clean.
  18. Hi all, just put my first tank of V Power in the CT as I thought it’s had a few tanks of normal shell so treated it to V power. I use to use v power diesel in my is220d which seem to have kept it going well for 137k. Anyway I could not believe my local shell garage charge £1.49 per litre for both diesel and petrol v power! I was expecting the petrol v power to be a little cheaper and not the same! what’s the prices where you are all at? (I’m in the north east)
