Buying a IS300h to be used mainly for short journeys. Worried about keeping 12v battery charged. Is it possible to permanently wire in a smart trickle charger (like CTEK), to be used while car is garaged overnight ?

1. I am thinking of buying a 2007 LS460, with 60K miles on the clock and a 12 months warranty from a Lexus main dealer. 2. I intend to use the car for about 3,000 mls per year, driving on holidays on the Continent, i.e. long journeys only. 3. What mechanical/electrical problems can I expect from a '07 LS460 that has already done 60,000mls ?
