  1. Hi I bought a 220d out of necessity my company car policy allowed a car with a maximum of 150kg/km of co2 and the 59 plate 220d I bought sits just under that. Overall I'm very pleased with it and I can get 47.5 mpg out of a motorway run which I was surprised at after reading the forums round town in the cold is 30-35 though. I bought with full Lexus history and have so far had no complaints, saying that if I was doing short journeys and had the option the 250 would be the car of choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Blimey that's cheap going to have a word with the guys quoted to do mine thanks
  3. Can I ask how much that cost I got a quote to refurb mine for £216 as they're scuffed and the colour on yours look good
  4. Hi, How often should I clean the EGR valve on my 220d I've had it for nearly 10 months now and the dealer, Who had sold a few before and knew of the issue had it cleaned before I picked it up its since covered 6k? I've noticed a drop in efficiency but assume this is cold morning starts. Thanks
  5. ThAnks I've just double checked and it's done just over 10k rather than 11k not seen the light yet :/
  6. Thanks I take it there is no warning light then? I've previously had company VW's that have had variable service indicators and after doing a fair bit of traveling over Christmas to visit family and noticed that i'd gone over 10K in the lexus without any dashlight indication of it needing a service.
  7. Hi I have a 59 plate se-l it's covered 11k since its last full service do they have an indicator for when they're due or should just take it in? Last was a full at 42k Thanks
  8. Its been standard on my last three cars (all VW) again handy on a hot sunny day. Not so handy if your accidentally setting it off in winter though
  9. Thanks i'll have a chat with the dealership next time it goes in and be a bit more careful with the keys.
  10. Hi, Yes if i hold the key down the windows will open. I am hoping that i have just made this mistake but I came in the house yesterday evening and left the keys on the side, pretty sure they've not been sat in my pocket. Does anyone know if you can turn this feature off? Brycey
  11. Hi, Woke up this morning to find the windows on my 59 220d down and the doors locked not sure if this is a driver or car error. Windows where definitely closed last night. Has anybody else experienced this problem before. I really do not want it doing it again especially in the rain! Brycey
  12. Hi, I've had my 59plate 220d for a just over a month now and am so far very please with it. The bumper trim however is slightly out of line on the rear passenger side wheel arch, (i am guessing that the bumpers been pressed up against at some point though there is no sign of damage other than this gap) and i was wondering if anybody had any advice in re-setting this myself? There are also a few chips and scratches on the car nothing your average person would notice but i'm starting to. I would consider trying to remove these myself the car is grey (cadoxton slate) are there any particular paint repair kits that owners would recommend or should i just go down the professional route. Thanks Brycey
